Dippy Dawg and Goofy were standing outside of a large office building, both eager to get to their respective meetings on time. As they approached the elevator, they both made a mad dash for the doors.
"Hold up there, Dippy!" Goofy called out, pushing past the smaller dog. "I believe it's every man for himself when it comes to elevators!"
Dippy Dawg huffed indignantly, his tail wagging behind him. "I beg to differ, Goofy! As a gentleman, it is only proper for me to let the ladies go first!"
Goofy chuckled, shaking his head. "Now you're just being silly, Dippy. There's no ladies here to hold the door for."
Dippy Dawg's eyes narrowed as he squared off against Goofy. "Then I challenge you to a duel, Goofy! May the best dog win the right to enter the elevator first!"
Goofy's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly recovered and grinned. "Well, I never back down from a challenge, Dippy. Let's do this!"
The two dogs faced off, each taking a step back and drawing their imaginary swords. They began to circle each other, eyeing each other warily.

Suddenly, Dippy Dawg lunged forward, swinging his sword with all his might. But Goofy was quick on his feet, easily dodging the attack and counterattacking with a powerful swipe of his own.
The two dogs fought fiercely, each determined to come out on top. They parried and thrust, their swords clanging against each other as they fought for dominance.
After several minutes of intense combat, Goofy finally managed to land a lucky blow, knocking Dippy Dawg's sword from his paw. Dippy Dawg looked up at Goofy, his eyes wide with shock.
"You win, Goofy," he said, panting heavily. "You are the superior swordsman."
Goofy grinned, his chest puffing up with pride. "Thanks, Dippy. I knew I had the upper paw in this duel."
With a triumphant nod, Goofy turned and walked towards the elevator, pressing the button to open the doors. Dippy Dawg followed behind, admiring Goofy's skill and determination.
As they stepped into the elevator, Goofy turned to Dippy Dawg and offered him a friendly smile. "No hard feelings, Dippy. It was a good duel."
Dippy Dawg returned the smile, his tail wagging behind him. "None at all, Goofy. It was an honor to face off against a worthy opponent like you."
The elevator doors closed, and the two dogs rode up to their respective meetings, each feeling proud and victorious. And as they went about their day, they both knew that they had taken part in a truly epic duel.
