As I headed back to the school though Thornvale, I tried making pns for today. If I am able to find Emily, I can invite her to go out with me.

  There were a lot of date options in the game, including things like cafes or restaurants, or going shopping together.

  With the fact that I skipped buying a new sword before getting Dawnbringer, I had a decent amount of money saved, and have a bunch of monster parts to turn in for today.

  I was thinking that we could go to a nice cafe, then maybe do a little shopping together. She and I have already kind of crossed that line, so it would be nice if I had nicer things to wear for her.

  Just thinking about it made me feel good.

  So much so I quickly made it back to school. I was noticeably a lot faster than I was at the beginning of the day.

  Heading back through the teleportation gate to the school, I was back in the school's adventuring guild, where I turned in the young dragon scales and samander scales.

  I made a rge amount of money from those since they were considered somewhat rare. It wasn’t a lot compared to what I could make in the ter part of the game, but it was still a lot for me.

  Adding that back to my wallet, I left the guild to find Emily.

  Emily spent a few hours that day training, knowing that was what Nyx was doing. She wasn’t smart st week, since she wasted so much time just watching her st week.

  Yesterday, she trained as well, and she had just hit level 5, and her ice magic was proficiency 20.

  “This is a good pce to stop for the day” she said, a little out of breath. She was quite skilled with ice magic, but still, a few hours of non-stop training would drain her mp. “I kinda wish I could train with Nyx, but she seems private about hunting”

  It has only been two weeks, but both weeks, Nyx found a way to be alone while hunting. And Emily thought it was because of how dedicated she was to it.

  That first day, Emily saw how dedicated Nyx was to hunting the rabbits, and the next day with how much she leveled up in that short amount of time.

  No matter how hard Emily pushed herself, she could not recreate that much growth.

  “She is probably really gifted if that is how much she was growing” Emily said to herself as she walked back to the teleportation gate to the school. From there, she turned in the small amount of items she got for the small amount of money.

  She got an allowance from her parents, so she didn’t need to hunt for money like Nyx did. She kind of thought it would be nice to pay for things for her, and for a little she got that chance. A few times during the st week, they went out and had a small meal in the city before curfew.

  And since Nyx was saving money, Emily got to pay.

  Emily really did like being in charge of things like that.

  Shortly after getting back to the school, Emily ended up seeing Nyx walking around the campus, wearing her adorable bunny hood and pin adventure clothes.

  Emily started to form a pn on how to approach her, hoping to surprise her and see Nyx’s shy side some more.

  BUt before she was given the chance, Nyx noticed her and came running over.

  “Emily, we should go out on a date today” she said in one breath, surprising Emily.

  ∴

  “So, what are we going to do on this date?” Emily asked me as we were leaving campus.

  “Um… So I have some ideas, but I am open to ideas” I tell her.

  When I asked Emily to go out with me, she agreed instantly. I hadn’t been back to my dorm yet, and it seemed that she was also hunting this morning, so we were both wearing adventure clothing.

  So after we changed, we headed out into the town.

  This was the first time I was leaving the school on an off day, outside of when i got the bunny hood. This meant that I had to wear my own clothes rather then the school uniform or my adventuring clothes.

  I ended up picking a light and flowy white and pink dress that went down past my knees. It had flower designs all over it. I also picked a pair of pink heels and cy white leggings.

  Emily went with a white sundress, she looked absolutely amazing in. She had a pair of white heels and nice jewelry, she was ungodly beautiful to me.

  Walking arm and arm with her, we went into the city.

  “So, for the first stop, I wanted to maybe have lunch. I think I know of some nice pces we can go” I say, getting nervous about what we are going to be doing.

  “That sounds great, lead the way” she said.

  Navigating the city was just like in the game, and I was able to find the restaurant pretty easily. We were seated quickly, since the pce wasn’t extremely popur. Even without the popurity, I did see some people who went to the school.

  The restaurant more favored higher end commoners rather than nobility, so it was more the children of merchants, and the lower end nobility.

  In the game, Emily would actually end up recommending this pce for dates if you ask her past the second year, since that is when she starts distancing herself from the royals, so I believed she would like this pce.

  As we sat down and pced our food orders, I was bnking on what we should talk about.

  After getting back from hunting, I was feeling really excited. But the more time we spent on the date, the more nervous I became.

  Strangely, I never stopped being happy, so I was filled with this weird energy.

  “You seem really happy today” EMily said with a smile, grabbing my hand over the table.

  “Yeah, I'm not sure why, but I'm just really happy” I said, smiling like crazy.

  “Well, that's great. And I noticed that your first thought was to spend time with me while you were happy” She said.

  “Of course I did. I love spend time with you. Over the st week since we started dating, you have made me feel so comfortable. And before that, you were my first real friend.” I tell her.

  “That makes me so happy to hear” She said back to me.

  Our conversation continued from there, like it was nothing, and my nerves faded away. But happiness doesn’t. Every word from Emily's mouth just makes it better and better.

  When our food is taken to our table, and we start eating though, I feel a touch on my leg, over my stocking. I flinch at the touch.

  When I look at EMily, she has a mischievous look on her face. Our table is covered by a tablecloth, so I can’t easily check what is happening.

  “Hmm, is something wrong” Emily asked with a weird tone.

  “Um, are you doing something?” I asked, thinking she was the reason behind this feeling in my leg.

  “Of course not. We are in public. And I have no clue what is happening to you” she said.

  She never confessed to me, but we finished our meal.

  But as the waitress came to give us our check, Emily paid before I could even try.

  After lunch, we continued on with the rest of our date.

  Our next stop was at a higher end dress shop.

  “You should try this one on” Emily said, giving me a dress. It was a bck ballgown, one someone would wear to a noblemens party. It has a lic purple bodice and white yered skirt. It wasn’t unlike the gothic lolita clothes I had at home.

  As I changed, I came back out and showed off to Emily.

  “You look great,” She said to me. “But there are so many more you have to try on”

  She had picked out many more and she had me try a bunch of them on.

  And after a while, I noticed that she handed money over to the staff at the dress shop.

  “Emily, I have money, I can pay for my own clothes” I told her.

  “Hmm, denied” she said.

  “What… I don’t think you get to make this choice” I tell her.

  “Nope. I'm spoiling you. And I need to make sure you look good at the mid term dance” she said.

  “Oh, yeah, the midterm dance. That's only like 3 months away” I said.

  “It’s never too early to prepare.” She told me. “And you look great in these dress, so why not buy them”

  “But Im not paying, you are”

  “Shh” She said, pcing a finger on my mouth, stopping me from talking more. “Anyway, I think we should move to a new store, I picked enough for you. I know you have enough casual clothes, but you could use some more”

  And she lead me out of the first store and to another.

  ∴

  After a few hours of us shopping, and Emily buying me a lot of things, including a lot of ball gowns, a few new outfits, and a number of accessories.

  I didn’t own any neckces, or rings, and my ears weren’t pierced, so this was all new for me.

  As we were walking back to school, we passed by one more store I wanted to go into.

  Having my nervousness skyrocket again.

  Stoping in my tracks, Emily stops with me.

  “Hmm, Nyx, what is going on?” She asked me.

  “There is one more pce I want to stop” I said, looking at my feet.

  “Hmm, where? I thought we did everything we could do?” She asked.

  All I did was point at the store.

  “Oh, look at you, so embarrassed!” She said, leading me into the lingerie store.
