  Zhelevartovsk town.

  Excel, Calisa and I are going to the mansion since my uncle called for us and my aunt Seraphina was asking for a friendly duel since she was asking for a very long time. But, the three of us went sightseeing first before the three of us went to the mansion.

  All of us see some products that are probably a magic tool judging by the mana inside the product. Some clothes also have some runes in it or it can be mana enchantment when the three of us talk to the vendor.

  “I bet some of them are expensive, most magus tend to make their own magic tools and materials can be gathered when a portal opens.” Excel. said.

  “Well, if they do dive into the other side of the portal, they better get that much since there is some sort of time limit before that portal closes.” Calisa replies.

  “Really, well I hope I get my chance to dive in.” I said it while all of us went to the direction of the mansion since the three of us had our fill of sight seeing.

  Exel also commented about my new outfit for work that I am wearing right now since most of the materials that were used in this new outfit I got came from a portal.

  “It cost me at least 110k dolrs per set. And that a total of 330k dolrs I paid for, at least it won’t get destroyed easily.” I chuckled.

  “Considering for someone who always takes a job from the guild that is high risk reward, you end up earning a lot but I prefer you take it easy sweetie.” Calisa said it with a plea in her voice.

  “Don’t worry, I don't pn on doing something stupid and I will always train myself.” I reply while thinking about the runes in some parts of my body and when I use reinforcement magic while keeping my fsh step ability a secret.

  After walking for two hours, the three of us reach the mansion and I knock on the gate. A maid came out, opened the gate, I asked the maid where Delta was and she said that master Andrijana is with Delta. The maid also led us to my Uncle’s office room and knocked on the door, a reply was heard and the maid opened the door. As the maid opens the door towards my uncle’s office area after she knocks two times. The three of us enter and I see Trish talking to Seraphina and my uncle at his desk looking at some paper.

  “The three of you took your time.” Seraphina stood up and hugged her nephew.

  “Well, the three of us decided to go sightseeing before going here.” The two of us broke the hug and she went to hug Calisa and Excel.

  “Is this your nephew that you are talking about?” A person asks.

  This person is none other than Trish, one of Dante’s friends.

  I went to her to shake her hand and tell her that I am that person she was asking about. Trish also introduces herself to Calisa and Excel and shakes their hand. All of us sit in an avaible seat in the office room. Before I could say something, Dragomir said that there are some people in the country who are looking for me and the two of them were the same person that was observing me when I was in Moldova.

  “Any pn?” I gave back the pictures to my uncle.

  “Idgel already sent three teams to deal with these people, but be ready for anything.” Dragomir warned me.

  I give him a thumbs up while Calisa and Excel also said that they will also be on the lookout. Dragomir gave the pictures to Calisa and Excel to get a look at these people. I asked my uncle where Dozir is now and he said that he was with Vuka?in and Earl since the three of them decided to colborate to make new magic spells, magic research and magic tools for the future.

  “Also, good job on the job in moldova. Their government opened up to our government about a pn for a magic academy for their magus but in secret first. Both governments manage to make a deal about trade deals.” Dragomir said it.

  “Good, what’s in for me?” I asked.

  “Well, I sent some words about your work but I did not tell you that both of us are reted. Also, you got paid for that job, making a connection instead of getting paid? Also, I did tell them the code name you are using to hide your real name.” Dragomir chuckled.

  “At least somehow but I will take what I can get.” I give my uncle a nod.

  “Just make sure you don’t get in trouble to the point you have to ask for reinforcement from our family.” Dragomir reminds his nephew.

  Before me and my uncle could continue our discussion, Seraphina asks me to come with her in the forest near the PMC, Seraphina and I leave the room while Trish, Calisa and Excel get to know each other.

  After walking for one hour since both of us were looking for a spot near the forest, my aunt and I managed to find a spot big enough for the two of us.

  “You know I’ve been waiting for this day.” Seraphina said while she summoned her tachi that resembled shizuna’s odachi from the kuro no kiseki series on her left hand.

  “I know.” I said it and summoned raging fury on my right hand while both of us circled each other.

  Both of us stop and when a single leaf manages to reach the ground, both of us disappear at high speed since both of us have fsh steps.

  “At least you're practicing instead of letting your skills go to waste.” Seraphina chuckled while both of us crossed swords.

  “Don’t wanna look weak.” I replied but I decided to keep to myself about the passive abilities I got.

  The duel went for four hours with a lot of parry or block, and as I showed my aunt what I can do with my raging fury. She managed to nd at least seven sshes but not compared to her since she just received fifteen sshes. These come with fire elemental since every time I unsheath the bde, white fmes engulf the bde.

  “Ok that’s enough.” My aunt said it while she was kneeling on the ground and breathing rapidly.

  I put back the bde to the sheath and get some red potion from my dimensional bracelet and give it to my aunt.

  “Thanks.” My aunt drank the red potion after she thanked me.

  After 15 minutes of break, both of us went back to the mansion. A maid was waiting for us and told us that she would lead us to the dining table since all of them were eating pizza since my uncle ordered at least four rge boxes. I wash my hands after my aunt tells me that it's my turn to do it.

  “That was a good warm up before eating.” I ask for at least two slices of pizza.

  “Looks like I have more training then, Thalira will probably need to up her game.” Seraphina said before she ate.

  While chatting with my aunt and uncle, Trish, Calisa and Excel were having their conversation.

  “Look, I used to work alone but if you want, call me so that the three of us can have time together.” Trish reassures both of them.

  “Make sure our schedule is clear.” Excel said it.

  “Yeah, and also if the three of us can travel to other countries when the three of us get a job together.” Calisa said it after she finished her slice of pizza.

  All of us went back to the office room and all of us sat down, Dragomir gave Trish a look and Trish nod.

  Trish introduces herself as a demon that was created by mundus and her master was sealed by Dante. Both she and Dante end up as friends after the situation in the mallet isnd. I gave her a nod while she just got confused from my answer.

  “That is?” Trish asks.

  “I do not judge people that quickly and you haven’t done anything that harms me.” I shrugged my shoulders and I already knew her status.

  “Just make sure to take care of yourself, you seem to have Dante’s habit.” Trish chuckled.

  “You’re not my mother.” I said it while I ughed a little bit.

  All of us talk for 5 hours about the supernatural side of the earth, portals that randomly open in earth and about the effect of magus if they went public in the future.

  “This is a lot to take but looks like things might be wild in the future.” Trish said.

  “That’s why I would like to make acquaintances and allies so that in the future all of us can coordinate. I bet 1000 Qoskoucia utopis that in the future, when people all around the world can use magic, there will be a massive portal opening and it will be hell on earth.” I pced a 1000 Qoskoucia utopis bill on the desk of my uncle.

  “What made you say that?” Dragomir put the bill in his drawer.

  “Gut feeling.” I replied.

  “Well, if you lose then I will use your 1000 Qoskoucia utopis to buy food.” Dragomir chuckled.

  I asked Trish if she should register to the guild in order to have an income and she said that my aunt took care of that but before that she did some work from my family and got some connection from my family.

  “Good for you since you pay the bills.” I said but am sure she gets the meaning behind it.

  “I’ll tell that to Dante.” Trish chuckled.

  She asked if I knew Dante and I said that me and Dante met when that tower rose from Redgrave city.

  Trish said her goodbye while Dragomir called for a maid to lead Trish outside of the mansion. My phone rings and I answer it. After talking to Freddie on my phone for 15 minutes, I told them that I got a job.

  “Leaving now?” Excel asks.

  “Yup, it's only an escort duty.” I kiss Excel and Calisa on their forehead.

  I said my goodbye to them and before I left, Seraphina said that there is a helicopter that will take me to my house.

  “Come. So that you don’t need to take a ship to take you to the mainnd.” Seraphina led the way.

  As we enter the PMC base, Seraphina enters the helicopter and talks to the pilot to take me to my house.

  “Take care out there.” Seraphina hugged me and said goodbye to me.

  It did not take long for the pilot to take me near my house and I waved my hand at the pilot before he lifted off the helicopter after I got out of it. After the helicopter left, I summoned my 1983 Honda CR125 from my dimensional bracelet, and rode it towards deep harbor city.

  After a travel time of one hour, I manage to reach Freddie’s gun shop and I enter the building. I see him and tell me to go to the back of his gun shop. I went outside and went to the backside of the building. He opened the door for me to enter.

  “How is the business here?” I ask while both of us sit on a sofa that is near to a person sitting on a chair.

  “Good but let me introduce you to Nina Lowell, the one who asked for a bodyguard for the duration of the job.” Freddie said it.

  “I remember her, she is Patty’s mother.” I thought while both of us shook hands.

  Nina expined to me about the job even Freddie did tell me on my phone. She is also an alchemist and judging by the magic sign in her bck gloves, it looks like the alchemy in this timeline might be based on full metal alchemist series. I asked her about alchemy and she pretty much expined the type moon version and the alchemy in full metal alchemist.

  “Well, I can defend myself. I just wanna make sure everything went smoothly and I already gave the payment to Freddie.” Nina said.

  Freddie gave me half of the payment.

  “I’ll take the job but first let me prepare.” I said it after I stood up and asked Freddie for a room since I need to prepare.

  Freddie led me to a room and went out so I could start preparing by getting my waist belt in my dimensional bracelet, check the pouches and check my desert eagle. I put my waist belt on my waist and went outside of the room. I tell Freddie to take care of my 1983 Honda CR125 since I won’t be using it.

  “Can I take out for a spin?” Freddie asks.

  I gave him the key, and Nina and I went to the nearest bus station. The two of us sit at the end, away from people a little bit.

  “Can you tell me more about this job.?” I asked Nina.

  Nina said that she has a pendant from her ancestor that attracts demons and she leaves her child to an orphanage for an adoption to protect her child.

  “I prefer to be the st descendant to be the protector of this pendant.” She said while she looked at the pendant.

  “The child?” I asked.

  She said that she asked Morrison about Dante’s service to protect her child and make sure they make it on time to the location since her child will be receiving the inheritance from her family.

  I asked her about alchemy and she said that most achelist in the country must be good at transmutation of materials and not just good at making potions. She also said that most buildings in this country are also made with the help of the alchemist to make them more durable.

  “I see, maybe if I get some spare time, I look deeper on alchemy. Am only good at making potions to cut expenses.” I said it.

  “Despite being an A rank on the guild, You probably got a lot of money.” Nina argues.

  “Someone did her research.” I said.

  She said that she’s gonna need someone who can trust her life and I replied that I need to do my best. The rest of the ride was quiet after our conversation but I could feel something was watching us and it did not take long when a pair of demons, the same demon Dante faced in the bar in the animated series. I quickly draw my desert eagle and give the pair of demons two mana infused .357 magnum rounds in their heads.

  “You okay?” I ask Nina.

  “Yeah and that was so fast.” Nina said after she got herself together.

  The bus stop and a pair of police came inside and asked me what happened. The pair of police let go of me after telling them what happened.

  “Let’s go now.” I said it to Nina.

  “Okay.” Nina replies.

  It's a good thing that the bus stops at Redgrave city and the both of us need only to take a taxi towards the mansion. We exit the taxi and Nina knocks at the gate of the mansion, a butler lets us in and leads us to a room. Nina said that she will be going first while I stay behind. While listening to the conversation, I look to my side and see Dante and Patty while leaning against the wall and listening to the conversation. When a distorted voice was heard, Dante suddenly went inside and shot the demon while I stopped Patty from going inside.

  “So, it was you who requested I serve as a bodyguard for Patty. Did you think you were making some small atonement for your sins against her. You’ve got a pretty face but you’re more terrible than those demons.” Dante is still gaslighting Nina while he walks towards the sofa while I ready my desert eagle since Nina is my client and I still have my job to do.

  Dante opens his guitar bar and it reveals a sword, his rebellion.

  Dante proceeds to shoot the demon and slice its arm, Dante proceeds to end the demon’s life by stabbing the demon with his rebellion to the ceiling. Dante clean his rebellion by swinging his sword so that the blood will fly out from his sword. Dante looks around and manages to see me while I lean against the wall with my desert eagle on my right hand.

  “It's been a long time since you showed your face.” Dante said it to me.

  “Busy, I got a life.” I replied.

  Dante said his goodbye while Patty ran towards him, Nina meanwhile begged Dante to let her keep Patty so she can help in another way. I put my desert eagle on my holster and go to the butler and tell him that my job is done and I’ll be going back. The butler led me to the main gate, opened it and said his goodbye.

  While walking, I also feel like I am being watched and I decide to pretend to ignore it and use my phone to send a message to my uncle that I feel like I'm being watched.

  “Time for me to head back to the gun shop. Also, keep my guard up for now.” I thought while walking away from the mansion.
