Demon Queen Reincarnation in an Archmage Webnovel
I never asked to be reincarnated, and certainly not as the final boss of the sequel to my favorite Archmage Webnovel.
What was my name? It doesn’t matter anymore. I used to be a nobody, just some college student with no friends, no goals, and no life. I was drifting along, minding my own business, enjoying my favorite webnovel when Truck-kun sent me. Literally. And reincarnated me into the very story I’d been following since its debut. At least I got to finish reading the sequel and knew exactly how the story ended.
After killing the Demon King, our hero was celebrated by his kingdom and took a long, well-earned rest where he accidentally cultivated his power to the maximum over a few thousand years by exterminating level one slimes on his peaceful farm. But he didn’t eradicate the demon race, and the Demon Queen bided her time. While strengthening her forces, she created the strongest tower, kidnapped the kingdom’s princess, and awaited for the hero so that the Demon Queen could take vengeance for her dearly departed. Of course, the Archmage ended up auramaxxing, powering up, and finally defeating the final boss.
I was thrilled with the story’s ending; with no regrets, I was ready to rest in peace and pieces.
Except I woke up as Saeruelianne Ashvondelias, the Demon Queen.
Now that I'm here with a tower to run and the demon race under my command, I’ve changed my mind. I’d prefer not to die, thank you very much.

What To Expect:
- OP MC Villainess Demon Queen
- Reasonable and rational protagonist but occasionally silly and quirky
- Fight scenes are rare; heroine is fighting the system, not stabbing humans. The Archmage is auramaxxing in the background, don’t mind him
- Large supporting cast of demons and humans, occasional POV-switch
- Kingdom building—more like tower building since the Demon Queen thought that was a good idea
- Targets silly antagonist tropes and breaks them
- Satire comedy, this author loves OP MC archmages and this is a homage to the genre (RoyalRoad should add a tag for it so I can sort and find yummy stories)

- Story has been planned and outlined, chapter-by-chapter, for approximately 80,000+ words which will be around 40 chapters total for volume one
- Daily chapter will be released for the duration of Writathon, Mon/Wed/Fri release schedule afterwards

Personal Note:
This story idea came to me when I found out there was another Writathon happening in less than a month. I had joined RoyalRoad by accident during the last Writathon—November 2025—and had entered with my very first story. Similarly, it was a villainess story; except it was an isekai with no magic, no fantasy, and no power progression. The enemy was student debt which wasn’t great for reader escapism.
Demon Queen Reincarnation in an Archmage Novel is a project that I’m excited for. This will be my third official novel on RoyalRoad and I’m looking forward to everything I learn from it. Whoever comes across this, I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
