Chapter 3: Experimentation

Andre didn't know how to feel about his position. he also had no idea on what to do next. He was standing on a piece of nothing and also had a very limited amount of knowledge of his situation, so what did he do? Like any pure blooded Human (?), he said 'Fuck it' and decided to just do stuff.

'Alright, I'm going to have to have a way to move around. Could I just float? Walk even?'

Andre looked around, mostly out of habit rather than having a limited field of vision, and made a decision to just move towards the Sun.

And so, he moved! As if he were levitating, he started moving closer to the Sun, slowly at first until he decided 'Hey, if I can levitate, can I go any faster?' and with that thought, he started moving faster. Still, it was going to take a while to reach Sun from distance, its size giving the illusion of being close by. So, to fix this problem, he decided to move a LOT faster. And so, just like before, he did. In fact, he didn't just move faster, he moved faster than the speed of light, but no matter how fast he moved, he could still understand and comprehend everything around him and everything happening to him.

So now he was at the surface of the Sun, him stopping just shy of touching it. What now?

Well now there was only one thing to do, something Andre had wanted to do ever since his childhood.

He dipped his hand into the Sun.

He could feel the intense heat, something that would destroy nearly anything else at the atomic level. He could comprehend how hot it was now instead of just understanding.

It didn't hurt, hell, it didn't even feel uncomfortable. Well, not the heat anyways. Something about the texture and consistency about the dense plasma just didn't sit right with him so he quickly took his hand out.

'So weird.' He thought. 'What now?'

Andre thought about his next objective. And he thought. And thought...

'Wow. There is so much to do and I have no idea what to choose.'

Andre was overcome with decision paralysis, unable to choose or really even think about what to do next. That is, until an idea struck him.

'Why not just make a Wishlist?'

Andre extended both of his hands, mimicking the action of holding a piece of paper.

'And now for the moment of truth...'

He willed a piece of paper to form in his hands...

And it did! The moment he willed the action, a piece of long, hand width paper appeared into his hands.

'So I can create stuff... I'm not going down that rabbit hole of implications.'

Again, Andre willed something to appear, but instead of paper, words formed. (In perfect cursive, obviously. It would be foolish to accept anything else.)

'Not big, but it will take some time.' Andre thought. 'I should probably explore the planets first, I can deal with the powers later, perhaps even during.'

With Andre knowing what his next task was, list in hand, he got to work.
