LXII: OMEGA

“YOU PIECE OF RAXX!!!” BRAAKO SHOUTED after Magnus had telekinetically pushed him through another skyscraper.

As Magnus quickly repaired it with his telekinesis a very enraged Braako blasted back through it and tackled the World-Breaker in his abdomen.

Pushing him backwards through the air with his telekinesis, Braako began throwing a flurry of punches and kicks at Magnus.

Being in the current dazed state that he was in, Magnus took a grand percentage of the blows, but caught one of Braako’s kicks.

“HUH?” Braako huffed in confusion as a fading Magnus clutched onto his right leg with his left and right hands.

Turning a glare on the vicious Leader of the Galactic Deciders now, Magnus let out a powerful battle cry before spinning Braako around three times.

“RAAAAH!!!” Magnus roared as he threw Braako across the city’s skyline.

Braako screamed in sheer terror until he was caught by none other than…

“OOMPH! Ugh… Huh? Auh-Apollox?” Braako in confusion after he was caught in the big and strong arms of the dark-skinned Galactic Deciding Titan.

“I heard your screams, brother,” Apollox informed. “So, do you require my ‘assistance’ now or shall you continue to ‘handle’ the Oath-Breaker yourself?”

Glaring at Apollox whilst blood ran out of his nostrils and various cuts and gashes that had been opened up in his face, Braako was about to reply until he was cut off by…

“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” Magnus screamed as he came raging towards both Braako and Apollox.

Braako’s eyes widened as Apollox glared at the World-Breaker.

“No need to fret, Brother Braako,” Apollox said to the Commanding-Leader of the Galactic Deciders whilst grinning like the devil. “THIS LITTLE RAXX IS MINE!”

“RAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!” Magnus continued to scream as he soared towards Braako, but he was quickly dismayed by Apollox, who suddenly appeared from behind the Commanding-Leader of the Galactic Deciders.

“MISS ME, OATH-BREAKER?! RAH!!!!” Apollox roared as he delivered a crushing blow to Magnus’s face, knocking him backwards through three skyscrapers before landing on the ground, creating a ‘seismic shockwave’ that rattled the whole planet.

“Heh, heh… Thracker,” Apollox chuckled as Braako hovered behind in shock of what he had just done.

“Stay here,” Apollox called back to Braako. “I shall end the Oath-Breaker’s ‘traitorous life-cycle’ once and for thracking all.”

Apollox then blasted off in the direction of where he had punched Magnus, leaving Braako behind to hover and recover in mid-air.

“Ugh… Guh… Ugh…” Magnus groaned whilst he laid in the center of a massive impact crater.

Broken, bloodied, and beaten beyond repair, the Breaker of Worlds faded in and out of consciousness as rain continued to pelt down upon his battered frame.

“Magnus… Magnus,” called out a voice that sounded rather familiar to Magnus.

  A female’s voice.

  A voice that sounded a lot like…

“Auh-Anora?” Magnus stammered as the visage of his late, close friend and fellow decider appeared hovering above him.

Anora looked like a ‘glowing angel’ as she reached down to Magnus with her right hand.

“Join me, Magnus. I want you to join me in the Outer-World,” Anora said to the World-Breaker. “Tis so beautiful here in this truly wondrous place. You would love it.”

“Auh-Anor… Anor… Anora,” Magnus continued to stammer as he raised up a shaking right hand to clasp onto the late Galactic Decider’s.

“Join me, Magnus… JOIN ME,” Anora continued to say as Magnus almost clasped her hand with his own.

Little Jaiya telepathically whispered to Magnus, stopping him from taking Anora’s hand.

  “Huh?” Magnus huffed in confusion.

   Little Jaiya informed.

Magnus scrunched his brow in confusion as he looked up at Anora to see that she had a saddened expression on her flawless looking face.

“Magnus?” Anora said in a saddened tone as the World-Breaker looked up at her with watery, swelling shut eyes. “Magnus? MAGNUS?!?!”

“MAGNUS!!!!!” Apollox screamed as he came ‘bursting’ through Anora’s visage, destroying her completely as she shattered like impenaglass.

  KA-THUD!

Falling from the sky like a meteor, Apollox landed on Magnus’s body and slammed both of his tightened fists into his chest.

“OOMPH!!!” Magnus scoffed as Apollox thrusted up his fists and slammed them down into Magnus’s chest again.

Magnus coughed up a splurge of golden, ichor-like blood as Apollox bellowed madly.

“HA-HA-HA!!! TIS THE END FOR YOU, OATH-BREAKER! THE FINAL END!!!” Apollox cackled as Magnus started to feel his life-force dimming more and more by the milli-cycle.

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Throwing up his fists for a third and potentially FINAL time, Apollox was about to slam down on Magnus’s chest again in hopes of landing a fatal blow… But he did not.

“RAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!” roared a leaping, battle-armored Kaze Azir at Apollox from behind, who had struck the Galactic Decider in the back of his shaved, bald head with his armored left fist.

Fumbling off of Magnus a few feet due to Kaze’s ‘armor enhanced’ strength, Apollox huffed in confusion as the young Jorrakan landed to his right.

“YOU JUST THRACKED WITH THE WRONG LIFE-FORM, SKOGGER!” Kaze shouted before he struck Apollox across the right side of his jaw with his left fist.

Barely moving an inch, Apollox shrugged off the blow like it was nothing.

Turning his eyes back upon Kaze, Apollox lowered his brow and gritted his golden-blood-stained teeth.

“Oh thrack,” Kaze gulped in fear as Apollox immediately kicked him in the center of his armored chest with the bottom of his right foot.

Kaze went flying through the bottom levels of two empty skyscrapers before crashing into a third.

As the young Jorrakan laid in defeat within his battered and broken Battle Armor, Apollox huffed, “Pfft… Skogger!”

Turning his back on Kaze, Apollox looked back down at Magnus who was barely clinging to life.

Cracking his knuckles, Apollox sneered, “Farewell, Oath-Breaker!”

Clasping his hands back together, Apollox was about to drive them through Magnus’s chest until the unthinkable happened.

Injured and beaten from the ‘super kick’ that he had received from Apollox, Kaze fought through the unbelievable pain and staggered back up to his feet.

Seeing that Apollox was about to strike Magnus through swelling shut eyes, Kaze gritted his teeth and said, “Urgh… Not today-cycle, you thracking skogger. URGH… RAAAAAH!!!!”

Harnessing all of his ‘leaping strength’, Kaze jumped out of the bottom level of the third skyscraper and soared through the other two to DRIVE HIMSELF right through Apollox’s lower back.

  SPLATTER!!!!

Plowing through Apollox’s midsection with incredible force, Kaze halted his leap by hitting the side of a parked Skyzoomer.

Now painted in Apollox’s golden blood, Magnus looked to his left in shock as the two halves of Apollox.

Apollox’s eyes remained stuck wide open and jaw dropped as his legs laid right beside him.

Magnus scrunched his brow in confusion as he coughed up another spout of his own golden blood.

Hearing Magnus’s corroded coughs off in the distance was Kaze, who shoved himself out of the skyzoomer that he had crashed into the side of.

With his battle armor now fully damaged, Kaze deactivated it and crawled out onto the debris-filled city street.

“Ugh… Guh… Muh-Magnus!” Kaze grunted after he had pushed himself back up to his feet.

Spotting the World-Breaker lying motionlessly in the impact crater, Kaze shouted even louder, “MAGNUS!!!”

Hobbling over to the impact crater, Kaze looked down at Apollox's fresh corpse for a brief moment before coming to Magnus’s aid.

“Magnus! MAGNUS!!! Are you alright?!” Kaze frantically shouted at the World-Breaker, who had managed to sit himself back up.

“Urgh… Ugh… Ugh…” Magnus grunted as blood trickled out of his mouth, nostrils, and various cuts that splintered every inch of his bearded face.

“Magnus, I’m sorry,” Kaze apologized to the recovering Breaker of worlds. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t here to help you fight. I’m sorry that…”

“No,” Magnus huffed out. “Nuh-No… Ugh… Tis… Tis not your fault, Kaze.”

Kaze looked at the World-Breaker in confusion as he continued, “Tis… Tis not your fight.”

Focusing all of his anger and remaining energy on Braako again, Magnus grunted, “Huff… Huff… Urgh… TIS MINE.”

Staggering back up to his feet again, Magnus spat out another round of golden blood onto the ground as Kaze returned to his feet as well.

“Ugh… The slaves,” Magnus grunted. “Are they safe?”

“Yes,” Kaze nodded. “Yes, they’re safe. Some of them were… lost in the escape, but a majority of them survived. All grand thanks to you, Magnus.”

“US,” Magnus corrected, causing Kaze to slightly smirk. “And what of Lero? What has become of him?”

“He still lives as well. I tried to get him to come back here with me, to aid you in your fight against the other Galactic Deciders, but he chose to stay behind in the Scrap Zone and protect the slaves.”

“Grand. Tis all grand, but why did you not stay back with him?”

“BECAUSE, MAGNUS. I decided to come back here, to the City, to help you. To SAVE you.”

“You should not have. You should not have come here. You should have stayed with Lero and the slaves. Tis your ‘purpose’, Kaze. Tis the reason why you came here in the first place, yes? To free Voltair’s enslaved? To SAVE them?”

“Yeah, I know it was, but now that they’re all safe and sound I’m here to help you end this raxx.”

  “No. You cannot help me.”

“Really? If I can’t help you then how in the thrack did this skogger end up split in two at our thracking feet?”

Kaze pointed down at Apollox’s mutilated body as Magnus kept his eyes locked on him.

“Tis not your fight, Kaze,” Magnus stated again sternly. “Tis not your fight… Or Lero’s… Or anyone else’s. Tis my fight… AND MY FIGHT ALONE.”

Kaze looked at the World-Breaker in confusion still whilst he continued, “Go back.”

  “Go back?” Kaze huffed.

“GO BACK. Go back to the Scrap Zone. Go back to Lero. Help him take the slaves… ALL OF THE SLAVES off-world and to another planet. One that is not in this thracking Galactic Sector. Take them and never return to this cursed place. NEVER AGAIN, I SAY. Confirm command.”

“What? No… No, Magnus! I’m not going anywhere! WE’RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! NOT WITHOUT…”

“CONFIRM THE THRACKING COMMAND!!!” Magnus shouted, causing a burst of telekinesis to fume out of his battered and beaten body.

Kaze stumbled a few steps backward as Magnus, who was now encased in a shell of glowing bright, goldenish-yellow gravitational energy with his hair blowing to the west and eyes glowing brighter than the Voltairan Sun and ascending slowly into the air.

As the young Jorrakan stared up at the Breaker of Worlds in shock, Magnus shouted again for him to ‘confirm’ his ‘command’.

“Cuh-Command confirmed!” Kaze squawked out in fear. “Command confirmed…”

“GRAND,” Magnus said in an echoey, ‘god-like’ tone. “NOW GO.”

Magnus then shot up into the Voltairan skyways and headed in the direction of where Braako’s gravitational energy signature was now emanating from: CITY SQUARE.
