Richard has always been neglected, his father never spoke to him more than necessary and his mother died in childbirth. He had no friends so he spent most of his time playing video games. This changed a little after his father started dating his new girlfriend although his father actions didn’t change the atmosphere in the home did so although surprising it made Richard happy when his father came home with a surprise for him.

  although Richard didn’t care for it he didn’t want to upset anyone.

  father: so have you been doing anything special lately

  Richard: not really i have mostly just played my video games although i did rank amongst the top 100 in an event.

  father: you should try to get out more.

  Richard: yes father I guess I should.

  Girlfriend: don’t get so down on your birthday, here have a drink,

  she held out a glass with something bubbly.

  Richard: a drink?

  girlfriend: don’t worry it’s just soda.

  Richard got a tiny bit embarrassed by the woman’s smiling face.

  Richard took the glass and started drinking.

  girlfriend: i see i guess maybe I should have put a larger dose into his drink.

  Richards thoughts: wait did they give me poison.

  father: what’s with that face isn’t it natural to get rid off things that doesn’t contribute anything to the house in fact you’re a nuisance that’s only costs money.

  girlfriend: now now dear you should be nicer with your words. Now Richard you see i like your dad but I’m not ready to deal with a child so I think it’s better for you to go to your mom, a child should be with his mother after all.

  Richards thoughts: how can she speak like that, how can she act like that like she is so kind when she is the reason for my pain.

  Richard: don’t,,, screw,,,with me,,, you,,, bitch.

  father: don’t you speak like that to her you waist of space.

  girlfriend: now now he is clearly feels hurt you should forgive him.

  Richards thoughts: are they being serious they are killing me and they act like they are nice people screw them i,,i am getting sleepy.

  Richard wakes up on a couch in something he imagined a man cave in the basement would look like, as he looks around he notices a middle aged man with a beer stomach dressed like a lumberjack drinking from a beer bottle.

  Richards thoughts: did they just drug me to sell me off.

  middle aged man: “gulp” hahaha that’s a surprisingly reasonable idea hahaha.

  Richard: what?

  middle aged man: oh sorry kid I just overheard your thoughts sorry for saying this but you’re dead right now.

  Richard: overheard? Dead? What are you talking about.

  middle aged man: oh right I forgot to introduce myself I’m what people would call an evil god.

  Richard: an evil god?

  God: hey you don’t have to be skeptical kid I’m really am a god and in god society I’m considered to be evil.

  Richard: fine let’s just keep talking with the assumption that you’re a god then can you tell me why I’m here.

  God: straight to the point I see very well, you see there’s this world that some of my more virtuous colleagues have been sending people to and they are always bragging about how great they are so I decided to do it myself.

  Richard: so you are going to reincarnate me into some kind of isekai world.

  god: not exactly, reincarnation in that world is overseen by a certain goddess that hates me.

  god: I’ll turn someone that was recently deceased that fits your soul and turn it into an undead and place you inside it aren’t I a genius.

  Richard: what’s the catch I don’t think you would want to extend my life for free.

  god: hahaha oh man you’re funny don’t worry about it kid if you agree to go you will be free to do whatever you want no strings attached, I will observe however so please do something funny ok.

  Richard: what if i refuse.

  god: you’ll go to where you were supposed to go.

  Richard: fine then i accept.

  god; that’s the spirit kid here have taste from my bottle.

  Richard: eh I’m underaged.

  god: hahaha man you’re already dead why bother with something like that besides something like your stepmother won’t happen again

  Richard: fine give me the bottle.

  after he took a sip the world started to spin.
