66 Million BCE,
Ugh, goddamn headache.
Marshall groaned as he woke up on his stone bed covered with some grass for cushioning. Yet another day in a humanless world. He yawned, butt-naked, and went out of his cave to take a piss down from the cliffside.
"What to eat today? Hmm… The usual, I guess. Dino meat and dino eggs."
Shaking those few phantom drops out of his dick, he turned and returned to his luxurious cave. He'd carved it with his own hands just to kill boredom. Outside, he had a whole dinosaur farm with fences and such.
He grabbed a few fresh dinosaur eggs and cracked them on a scorching hot stone to make the equivalent of an omelet. Then there was some meat, and finally, some salt he'd made from the sea. He was so used to that food that he didn't even think before eating.
It was just a habit, a way to waste time. He was bored out of his mind.
That entire day, he just rambled, sang the cursed song, and walked around his farm, smacking a few angry dinosaurs. When night came, he returned to his cave and y down on the bed.
Tap! Tap!
In the darkness of that night, however, he heard something. A soft tap of feet nearby.
His senses of smell, taste, and vision were already at the apex of the nd; he could see in the night. He sat up quickly and gnced towards the edges of his cave room.
"What the fuck is it now? Giant rat?" He tried to hear better and felt the taps were coming from right below. He leaned over his bed, looking down at the dug storage under his bed. That was where he kept the dino eggs to eat.
He lifted the cloth covering it and…
"What the… A chicken?"
"Graaa?"
Marshall stared at the little thing, as the thing stared back at him, its little lizard-like fluffy head tilting left and right. It was so small, about the size of Marshall's head, its round, big eyes curious, its tiny arms hanging, the tail still tiny.
"The hell are you doing there? Fuck, I forgot to eat one of them eggs, and you hatched? Boy, what are you?"
As if reacting to his voice, the baby T-Rex hesitantly stepped closer to the big head, making so many noises. The little creature then softly nuzzled its maw all over the big face, making a lot of noises.
"I guess what's on the menu tomorrow morning," Marshall said and ignored the little thing. He just got back ft on his bed, trying to sleep.
"Wrrrr."
But the baby T-Rex came out of the storage and jumped on top of the bed, fpping its little feet on Marshall's chest. For a very long time, the baby T-Rex stared at Marshall's face.
"What? It's a dog-eat-dog world, buddy. Ain't my problem—"
Before Marshall could finish speaking, the baby T-Rex moved further, slid down right beside Marshall's neck, and cuddled himself into a ball there, between his ear and shoulder, resting his fluffy head on Marshall's neck.
In moments, little snores came.
It was the first time in millions of years that Marshall had such a moment. For the first time since he could remember, which wasn't much, he felt the warmth of another creature that wasn't trying to kill him. Just pure, honest warmth, innocence unaware that the one's neck it slept against belonged to the world's apex predator.
"What in the jumping jackfuck am I even doing?" he murmured without realising, and pulled the quilt over himself, a little extra on the baby T-Rex. "Alright, if I don't get to die, you don't either. Stuck with me forever, you bitey little shit. Hmm… Let's call you… Rex? Eat my entire ass. Leo? That’s a golden retriever, not a murder lizard. Marty, yeah, Marty, pretty human..."
For the first time in millions of years, Marshall didn't sleep alone that night.
Somewhere deep down, warmed up, happy, he closed his eyes with a big smile.
####
All those adventures, he still remembered them.
All the joys he shared with Marty, he remembered them.
The first time Marty tried to bite him, and got his ass whooped. The first time Marty went on a solo hunt and got his ass kicked and came back crying, only for Marshall to wipe out the entire forest of every living thing in anger.
Without Marty, there was no Marshall. The big T-Rex was the anchor that kept a hint of humanity behind the cloud of insanity that coated his mind.
And now, that anchor was gone.
"Since you died, I'm dying too."
Marshall's lips whispered softly, calm on his face but chaos in his mind. He stared at the gigantic entity pulling him through a tunnel-like space where they crossed the cosmos at a speed faster than he could perceive.
"Do not stray into folly, human. Your past and your present lie open before me."
"And you? Hah! Like I give a fuck anymore!"
Marshall unleashed something he'd never done before. Whatever that creature from that book was, it was immeasurably powerful, with the ability to grow even more. Marshall let go of all control and let his entire body turn into that sun-sized tentacle creature.
His gigantic tendrils quickly wrapped around the Aspirant, like a python twisting around its prey, only Marshall was the same size or a size rger than the Aspirant's body. His tendrils wrapped around the Celestial Destructor's arms, legs, and finally its head. Marshall personally didn't know where his head was. He reckoned there wasn't any; he wasn't an octopus but a cosmic horror.
"Not enough to stop me," decred the Aspirant.
"I know." Marshall's unrecognizable voice responded.
The next moment, Marshall's entire body got covered in phoenix fmes. He didn't know if he had that much in him, but he was running on pure hatred at that moment. He knew he couldn't defeat this creature, but defeating it wasn't his purpose.
Then came Odin’s thunder, covering the fire. Then came Marshall's demonic, world-shattering roars that used Bck Bolt's scream. Combined, they weren't enough to defeat the Aspirant.
But it was enough to halt the creature from flying through that portal-like tunnel. They appeared somewhere in space, near a strange red and green pnet with a few dozen moons around it. The Aspirant tried to use his arms and hands to cw off Marshall's tendrils.
And with ease, the Aspirant ripped Marshall apart. But such was that strange, horrifying body, Marshall instantly grew more tentacles and covered the gigantic creature once more.
That was the pn. Not to fight but to force the Aspirant to use its powers. The pn was to simply die.

White House,
"Anything? Anything at all? That thing in the sky looked rger than the whole pnet," President Arthur Morgan shouted, not in anger but confused fear. "Old man, you don't know anything?"
Chester Phillips sighed, being the Secretary of War and heading the SSR was hard. "We know what the Dinosians said. It was a primordial being that's older than the universe. Said the being is pretty much your wildest imagination of a god, and worse by ten times. The First Man went to fight it and vanished."
"First Man vanished?!" Arthur Morgan nearly flipped his table. He'd have if the damn thing wasn't so heavy. "The God of Earth's gone?"
"To battle, yes."
"What about Hitler then?"
"..."
Chester frowned, pondering in what sense the President saw Hitler as more dangerous than a sun-sized god. "Schmidt is dead. Captain Rogers and Captain Carter are at the front lines, but… I believe the days of war are numbered. The First Man's son is being asked by Dinosia to go all out and end this whole damned mess."
To that, the President took his seat again, taking calming breaths.
"All out… at st. That's what we need."

Earth, Germany,
More than a week had passed, yet Helvar couldn't forget that image. The fear he'd felt in that moment.
That gigantic creature, and the way his father had looked back at him. He remembered the expressions, the fear, the worry, and the anger. Marty was also missing, and he expected the worst. Nothing else could make his father that angry.
He'd flown out into space in search of his father, only to run out of air and get knocked out. If not for Odin sensing his troubles and saving him, he'd have died in space. He hated being so weak. He saw the worry his mother held but never showed.
How dumb he had been for so long. Thousands of years had passed, and he'd never taken training seriously. He'd never bothered learning how to fight.
So when he was asked to go out there and put an end to the whole war because it was muddying the First Man's name, he became furious. He knew his father wasn't perfect, but the old man had watched over humans for so damn long, and yet they dared dishonor him.
Boom!
Helvar nded in Berlin, through the many floors of an underground bunker. He didn't flinch, just floated downwards through each floor, carving a hole for himself until he was at the lowest level.
"Where is he?" he asked the nearest soldiers in uniform.
But the soldiers chose to raise their guns and shoot.
Helvar didn't even flinch, face frozen with just one cold and gring expression, and let the bullets ricochet off his skin. He walked over to the men and punched at their heads, spttering their blood and meat on the wall behind them.
He shattered the door they were guarding and arrived at another room, this one manned by a woman, like a secretary working at an office. Helvar gred at her, which was enough to leave her passed out in fear.
At st, he walked through the steel door, ripping it out straight from the frame and hinges. Inside, he found just one man seated at the table, holding a gun in his hand, aimed at his own chin.
"Taking the easy way out?" Helvar sneered and used his own telekinesis to rip the gun away.
“I’ll tear your spine out through your teeth! You greedy, murdering parasites! I’ve walked this cesspit for a heartbeat compared to my Father, yet every breath is blood, fire, and screaming madness! Why he suffers for you maggots, I’ll never know. I’m not him!”
Hitler stared at Helvar in shock and fear. He shouted in German, trying to justify everything, that all he did was in his worship of the First Man. That he wanted to make a Dinosia in Europe.
"He never demanded your fucking prayers, you worthless worms! All you had to do was crawl on the dirt he let you infest. But no, you gutless shits sughtered over a hundred million of your own, and you dare say it’s in my Father’s name?!"
No longer tolerating words, Helvar went ahead and gripped Hitler by the neck, not enough to kill, just enough to make it painful. Then he shot towards the sky, flying through each floor while using his powers to punch a hole so Hitler wouldn't die just from that.
He flew west, towards the sea. He knew what he had in mind.
"Look down there! I did that, and I won't stop until every arm bearing a weapon is mineral for the soil."
He forced Hitler to look down at the German ndscape, covered in smoke and destruction, not a single soldier or military camp in sight was left standing. It was all ruins, the entire city of Berlin gone, every building ruined.
As they flew across Germany, into France, Hitler saw his own armies decimated at every step. The war was over; he'd known that already when the news of Dinosia officially sending Helvar became public. He just didn't know that he'd lost so overwhelmingly. There was no mercy.
He pleaded to die.
But Helvar continued to fly east, over the ocean. Since the German air force had completely fttened London, Helvar flew all the way across the sea, back into the United States, arriving in New York City because it was still untouched and bustling, the perfect pce to perform the execution.
Swooooo!
Like a meteor, he came down and nded at the rgest open square in the city, an intersection that split into two directions on one side with a building in the middle. It was loud enough to gain everyone's attention, halting all the cars nearby.
Of course, Helvar made sure to keep Hitler alive.
"How is it? First time across the sea? Also, the st." Helvar sneered and looked around at the thousands of people starting to gather, the cameras fshing. So, he bellowed even louder. "I can easily hand you over to them; they'll kill you, too! But you dared to use my Father's name for your vile crimes! For just that, I’ll crush you now!"
Bam!
He grabbed Hitler's face and smacked him into the road.
"Hear me! Not just Hitler, but every creature on this nd."
Bam!
He kept bashing Hitler's head into the road, making a puddle of blood. The dictator was dead after a few bashes, but Helvar just kept going.
"You have tested my patience enough! From this instant, if any nation, any king, any goddamn street-corner dictator wants to start a war, he crawls to me and begs for my signature in blood! Otherwise, I’ll rip you apart like this! Burn this into your precious constitutions, carve it into the marble of every statehouse, or your grandchildren will bleed for it!"
Bam!
Hitler's entire skull was gone. If Helvar's wish was to set an example, he'd done more than that.
Without any more words, he looked at the sky, then gnced at the crowds, a few cameras still fshing. He wasn't done yet; there was one more troublesome pest that needed to be taken care of.
He took off into the sky with a bone-crushing gust of wind below him, destroying Hitler's body more. There was no tenderness in his actions as he bsted through the sound barrier. He went west, across the entire United States, flying over Dinosia, then Hawaii, over many Allied navy ships.
He saw some battles taking pce in the ocean. Whenever he saw a ship with a Japanese fg, he rammed through that ship, destroying it to a degree that the chances of anyone surviving were none.
Soon enough, he entered Okinawa, where a battle was already taking pce. He didn't bother to speak with anyone and sughtered every Japanese soldier, be it in the sky, on nd, or at sea.
No punches, he just flew through them, spttering their organs like pi?atas. He destroyed their factories, their storages, and any military infrastructure they had. But mostly, he killed men, lowering their numbers to the point they couldn't even be called an army.
Finally, after a whole day of sughtering, he stopped at the Allied army that had retreated after the demi-god's carnage had begun.
He asked for one man who was fluent in Japanese, and received the said man right away. It was an officer of colonel rank from military intelligence.
Helvar expined nothing, just grabbed the American officer and flew straight to Tokyo. It was where the government resided, as well as the Emperor, who was the actual culprit this time, as the man had seized control and decred himself descended from the First Man.
He nded right in the middle of Tokyo city. He didn't hold back his nding and crushed the ground so hard that a massive, hundred-meter-wide crater formed. The impact was so grand that all buildings within a kilometer radius around him crumbled. Bridges fell into rivers. Entire districts ceased to exist. Tens of thousands died a miserable death.
"All the goddamn kami horseshit, every whining prayer! Well, here’s your fucking kami, worms!" Helvar grumbled and looked towards a tower in the distance, a radio station. "You, American! You’ll broadcast a radio message to all of Japan for me."
"I…" the officer was at a loss for words. He'd just witnessed a massacre. On one hand, this was the moment the war ended, but as a human, it was frightening. "Understood, sir!"
Helvar flew into the radio station. It was still staffed by people, albeit scared. He demanded to be taken to the studio right away, and the American officer transted it for him. The people were scared, but they were all educated.
They were surprisingly willing; their loyalty to the Emperor was clearly not blind. Already, half of the Japanese popution didn't believe in the Emperor's bullshit. The First Man's radio speech months ago had already unmasked Hitler and the Emperor.
Helvar demanded that the broadcast be made to the entire country. The men complied.
"This is Helvar, son of the First Man. This is my first and only warning to the Emperor of Japan. Give me your unconditional surrender or die. I will rip through your castle and seize you by the skull and smash your face across your whole nation. All will see what a kami you are. I will stand where I arrive for three days, that is all the time you have."
Quickly, the American officer transted everything and repeated it into the microphone. Then the broadcast was cut.
Helvar left the American there and flew back to the center of the crater he'd made. He just stood there, arms crossed, eyes closed.
Very soon, the military arrived at the location, but none of them dared walk into the crater. They just set up tents and watched. No one attacked Helvar, not a single bullet was fired.
The echoes of cries rang throughout the city that Helvar had destroyed. Wails, groans of pain, and loss. That was the first time Japan received a wound in their home turf during the war. This was new to them. Different from bombings. A single man had decimated half of Japan's rgest city.
The other half of the city was being evacuated as nobody knew what the Emperor was going to do. Some distant gunshots also rang, perhaps a difference of opinion between the military commanders.
Days became nights, Helvar didn't move an inch. He seemed like a statue to whoever saw him; all the photographs taken hinted at the same.
Two days passed, and still no word came from the Emperor. Even the military tents vanished. All of Tokyo became empty.
However, right before the third day arrived, a line shone on top of Tokyo. It was so bright that it overpowered the sun's light.
Helvar sensed a presence in that light. "Who the fuck are you?"
"I am one of the Amatsu-Kami. This nd worships me as Amaterasu."
"And?" Helvar remained unmoved. "Where's the maggot Emperor?"
"Let him go, son of First Man. I have known your father dearly. We were once lovers."
"..."
When Helvar finally saw the woman coming out of that light, he sighed. "Of course! Of course, he fucked you, too. Goddamit, old man!"
"Let the Emperor live, son—"
"Listen to me, you dumb bitch," Helvar interrupted her. "Whore, that's what you are. A one-night stand that my Dad fucked and… he probably doesn't even remember you. And what the hell are you yapping about? I gave the bastard a chance to kneel and live! If he’s hiding behind your skirt like the gutless rat he is, I’ll kill you both!"
Amaterasu's body suddenly ignited into fmes. "You leave me no other choi—"
Before she could even finish speaking, a rainbow bridge appeared right beside Helvar, and Odin's spear came out of it, nding right beside him. There was nobody else, just the spear.
"I got this, Grandpa." Helvar looked at the sky. “This brainless cunt has no idea what she just started. Let her try. Mark my words, the moment she’s ash I’m coming for every stinking Kami you’ve got, and I’ll gut you all like fish. You wake up now? Now? While your precious Emperor was butchering millions, you were drunk on sake and heaven orgies?
“Bullshit, you know what, fuck you! I'll kill the Emperor now; his son or some other punk can repce him. And I'll give him the Hitler treatment because the fucker deserves it!"
Helvar grabbed Odin's spear and flew straight towards Amaterasu. The female goddess tried to shoot fire at Helvar, but Odin's spear easily blocked it.
In seconds, Helvar passed through Amaterasu's body, slicing her in half.
But she was fire, and just cutting couldn't erase her. However, Odin's spear shot a beam of light on its own and obliterated the fire Amaterasu had created. No matter what, she was no challenge to even a fraction of Skyfather's power.
Helvar didn't wait after that and flew straight into the Imperial Pace. He didn't give a damn and simply destroyed the entire building, passing through walls and roofs trying to find the Emperor. By the time he found the fucker cowering underground, the castle was all dust.
"Hiding like a maggot. Just like Hitler."
He grabbed the Emperor by the head and gave him the same treatment as Hitler. He flew up in the sky and then back to New York. At the same crossing, he'd spttered Hitler, whose blood still marked the road; another puddle of blood formed.
This time Helvar didn't say anything, however. He just bashed the wailing, crying, pleading Emperor into the road, mincing his skull into the dirt. The first few smashes killed him; the rest were just to sptter his remains more.
The world must remember this. This was going to be the end of every man and woman who would wage any sort of war without the First Man's permission.
Call it the w of heaven. War was banned.
At st, he stepped back from the Emperor's dead body and shook his hand clean. He looked towards the nearest fshing camera.
He wanted to say something, but it felt pointless. Humans never understand.
Helvar just flew back to Dinosia, hoping He would have found something about his father's whereabouts.

Unknown Pce, Space,
"You move toward nothing, human. Stop before I decide the rest."
"Bring back… Marty!" Marshall roared, strangling the hell out of the Aspirant with his massive tentacles. It was going nowhere; they were still in the same pce they had appeared. By now, the Aspirant had even destroyed the nearby pnets by colliding with them while trying to get rid of Marshall's tentacles.
"I have spoken before. Life and death do not bend to my will in this universe. Take the hand of First Firmament, and power will rise in you strong enough to call back not only your pet, but whole civilizations and the gaxies that cradle them."
"Pet? You said pet?!" Marshall tightened his tentacles. "Fucking convenient to first kill and then offer a solution! Fuck your first asshat or whatever."
"We are going nowhere, human. You are wasting your own time. I am eternal."
"So am I, dipshit! I can do this all day and night on repeat."
Marshall tightened his grip even more, looking nothing like the rugged man he usually appeared as. He seriously didn't know what he was going to do. But he wasn't going to quit, no matter how long it'd take him.
He had, however, noticed something. The Aspirant was growing annoyed. It didn't sit well with the whole extradimensional older-than-universe godly personality. Why was such a being so anxious? The only answer Marshall could think of was fear.
Every tentacle the Aspirant tore, Marshall regenerated. Marshall himself didn't know where all that power was coming from. He'd never pushed himself to the limit, so he didn't know what his limit was.
"You know what, I haven't even used that yet," Marshall decred and summoned the energy he had absorbed from the Tesseract. He didn't know what it was, but it felt overpowering, too much actually. He felt like it gave him a connection to everywhere. He could go wherever he wanted.
But how?
Nonetheless, all his tentacles started to glow in cosmic blue. He hoped it'd hurt the giant fucker somehow. Or maybe burn at least.
"Marvelous! Your body's ability to adapt is unmatched! First Firmament will rejoice."
"..."
Marshall ignored it and focused on fully harnessing this new energy. It was trying to guide him, and he tried not to be a dumbass. His mind was in chaos, thoughts all jumbled, fighting him on every step. But he tried to focus.
Space… I can move through it? Portals? Yeah, that red fuck fell into one.
"You know, if I get cut, I can just regrow the damn thing. What about you?"
"What riddles do—"
Before the Celestial Destructor could finish speaking, Marshall used all the focus he could muster, murdering thoughts that controlled his mind. Veins popped up in his non-existent head.
And he summoned a massive portal right beside the Aspirant's arm. Of course, the Aspirant didn't want to put his arm through it. But Marshall's tentacles acted like muscles and moved the massive arm, shoving it through the portal while the portal also moved.
Snap!
And just like that, the portal vanished.
"You human!"
Marshall's tentacles grew back. The Celestial Destructor's arm didn't.
"What have you done! My ar—"
Another portal appeared on the other side.
"Shhh—Don't celebrate too early," Marshall grumbled and did the same thing. He pushed the big arm with his tentacles and cut the portal's connection, severing the arm. With that, the Aspirant was armless.
Of course, that wasn't enough to kill the thing. He reckoned even if he severed the head, it would survive. But his goal was to weaken it so his powers could work. His tendrils started squeezing it more. With no arms, it got easier.
"You cling to small tricks as if they matter. You still do not grasp the height of what stands before you, human. My will alone is enough to take hold of you."
For the first time, Marshall saw the creature use its powers. He became alert and waited for something. Red energy was pouring out of the Aspirant's body from all sides. It was getting hot; even his tentacles could feel it.
"Go ahead, burn me," Marshall decred. "Let's see what you got."
Marshall sustained it. The heat grew over time, and his body sizzled. But he kept the hard squeeze on the Aspirant. Clearly, the being wanted to maintain that temperature, not killing him, just tormenting.
It hurt like hell. But Marty's little growls in his mind kept him going. He wanted that goofball back at all costs.
"There… goes… the leg!"
He continued to use the portal trick since he had the creature captured by his tentacles. Only this time it hurt like hell to move. He chopped the left leg first, and then the right.
It's getting hotter.
As if the Aspirant felt anxious, it burned him more. Marshall maintained the same strategy, however, and chopped the other leg as well. Now, only the torso and the head remained; the rest of the body was thrown randomly across the universe.
"The head… next?"
"Foolish to believe that could hinder me. This binds you as it binds me. You will not depart while I remain, and I cannot while you keep me fastened to you."
Marshall didn't reply to that. It was hurting too much.
"Ah, we have guests," the Aspirant voiced suddenly. "I knew you were watching, Arishem the Judge. Here to kill me?"
Marshall looked through his non-existent eyes. This Arishem was gigantic, even rger than the Aspirant he was battling. But he recognised it from the stuff Ajak had shown. This was her boss, he reckoned.
"This matter remains beyond your grasp, Aspirant. Your presence stains what must unfold. This is the human's trial, and you are the strain upon it," spoke Arishem, the voice sounding old and majestic. "The moment has arrived to end this standstill. Let the outcome be final."
Out of Arishem's chest, a gigantic beam of energy shot towards Marshall and the Aspirant.
"Fuck!" Marshall lost his grip on the Aspirant's body, however. The creature burned his tentacles entirely, scorching them to ashes until just a bit of him was left. Freed, the Celestial Destructor shot a simir beam towards Arishem.
But Marshall didn't bother wasting time. He didn't know what the Celestials were pnning, but this was his moment. He didn't change into his human form, as it would have taken time.
With a mere thought, he used that blue energy and made himself a portal, teleporting himself right in the middle of the two celestial beams of energy about to collide like two supernovas.
"This! Is it!"
"This changes nothing!" The Aspirant roared, furious at the Celestial like a dog that had just seen a cat.
"Oh, it does—"
Marshall grinned in his horror form. The instant those two energies collided, he was in the middle. He got obliterated by it, and vanished within a second. But then he appeared again right there and died again.
He appeared again and died again.
The cycle continued. He kept dying and returning, only to die again. Clearly, the fact remained, his body was still the old Marshall. Being killed by those energies, he'd received those abilities. But physically, he was still weak.
"You are still what you have always been, human. No fragment of our power will quiet the storm you carry.
"Oh… Who wants… to fix… the madness?" Marshall's voice came from the exploding energy. "I can…"
He still died, but he started to st longer. He only ever had split seconds before dying. It took too many split seconds to understand what he had just learned.
It took too many minutes of dying to finally cover his body with the combined might of both Aspirant and Celestial energy.
"Let the trial resume," Arishem the Judge decred, and just as he'd appeared, he vanished.
"No! You coward traitor!" The Celestial Destructor roared. "I shall end you!"
Glowing in the red energy of different shades, Marshall looked at his human arms. He was butt-naked, but back to being himself. He tried to test it and combined the phoenix fmes and Tesserect's energy with his body as well.
"Bah! Just like that super saint carrot! Wait, what?"
He overpped his abilities with what he'd just learned, and at st, he could feel it. An attack that would nd a blow to the Aspirant.
But Marshall also added another goal to his long list.
A trial? The Celestials knew? The fuckers knew and let Marty die… I'll kill them all!
"But first, you!"
