Welcome to Hell

A black abyss swallowed him whole his every sin, secret, and hidden passion exposed like an open wound. Just as he was torn open and read through, he was tossed aside. There was no gravity, but he fell, there was no air, but he gasped, and there was no hope, but he prayed. Fear took hold of him with its rusty hooks and his world shook. His first conscious thought after he the darkness let him escape was to run. He had to get away flee from this prison. Prison? Yes, he was in a prison. A vast infinite prison filled with distractions and misdirection. This prison sentence was well earned according to the owner of this institution. God had condemned Jack to hell.

That’s insane he shook at the thoughts but no matter how absurd they wouldn’t back down. He had been judged and tossed aside for the next poor soul. Worst of all was the awareness. It didn’t fade as most memories did, the knowledge remained real as steel. Where was he?

He felt damp, saw nothing but blackness, and his body shivered from the cold. Instincts he couldn’t understand shouted at him to rest. The time for escape from the egg wasn’t now. He couldn’t accept that. In life he wasn’t one to play by anyone’s rules. Maybe that’s how he ended up here.

Jack beat against the soft membrane of the shell he had developed within for weeks. As he beat against it while thoughts of this sentence whirled through his head. A sensation swept through him.

That feeling was like fire running through his veins. He had received the ultimate freedom from god. That didn’t mean, he was truly free from god’s rules or system. Even as he beat against the membrane separating him from the beginning, he felt the system begin to boot up.

Welcome to eternity in hell. You are no longer worthy of my image and I’ve stripped it from you. That does not leave you defenseless. The spark that I shared with you upon the creation of your soul has granted you some power. I don’t presume to know how your system may operate but good luck. I wish you the best.

He turned his gaze to the other eggs within their little nursery. They were barely moving some hadn’t moved at all. It would be easy. Wait weren’t they his brothers and sisters. Well sure, they were and technically Jack was a he/she now. If he wasn’t mistaken leeches had both sets of genitalia. But that wasn’t the point. The point was he had an easy meal perhaps the only one he would ever get.

He swam to the smallest egg and stuck his own sucker against it. After the egg popped the occupant slipped in his mouth and into the vice grip of his throat. One contraction later the leech started to struggle. It wiggled and thrashed, and Jack swallowed again. More of the leech feel past his sucker and down his throat. -1SP

Once again, he gained ground when his sibling started to get tangled in their own egg membrane. Jack swallowed again feeling the smaller leech slide past the middle of its body. From there the rest was much faster soon his sibling was down his throat and thrashing within. Jack felt completely full and waited for his stomach to do its work.

Jack was well and truly on the job. His digest meat skill had continued to lv as he ate his siblings. With a bit of maneuvering he started to eat multiple eggs at the same time. His body had started to grow rapidly with each lv up. The nutrition from his siblings was helping him devour more.

Whenever one of his goals were met the reward flashed green. He sped for the next and the next one until he was alone in the cocoon. There was no telling where he was in the world but at least he was now the largest leach in the cocoon.

Just like that he felt the muscles in his body grow exponentially stronger. He swam about feeling himself glide through the water. It was much easier to swim with greater strength and his gills thanked him for it. But it was time to leave the safety of his cocoon and venture out into the unknown.

  Spear Tongue Eldritch Leech

Description – A tongue akin to a bone tipped spear hides within your body ready to bleed your prey.

  Tentacled Eldritch Leech

Description – Long tentacles cover your body built to allow greater ease of movement on land and sea.

  Aquatic Eldritch Leech

Description – Fins sprout around your body and soon you may join the ranks of sea monsters.

He wanted freedom and a bone tongue wouldn’t help that at all. He chose tentacles because he didn’t want to become a sea faring leech in fresh water. Just because his intelligence was five didn’t mean he was stupid.

Once his choice was selected darkness claimed him. He felt his mind shut down and enter rem sleep.

While he was out his home continued to rock and twist in the water, he had no idea where he was. Hours later he came to aware of several new appendages. His body was covered in a sea of dainty tentacles. They moved in their dozens around his body twisting a contorting.

Jack would have laughed if he wasn’t a stupid leech. He had the makings of the perfect hentai monster. Just a few more transformations and who knew what he could do. Thoughts of grandeur aside he needed to get out of here and hopefully not die to a giant catfish or bass.

That would be bad dying to a catfish after eating all his possible decoys. Still, he couldn’t complain he was much stronger than before. Why did he hesitate to leave the safety of his cocoon? He was as strong as he could possibly become considering the circumstances. Why couldn’t he rip away the white cocoon and free himself?

Instead of remaining there like a pussy and waiting for something to eat his home, he gained some nerve and ripped open the white curtain. The world opened into a black murky lake under the moon. Realizing he had no way to detect predators he kept his body closely packed together and slowly made his way out into the unknown. His parent had placed the nest beneath a log on the bottom of the lake. Jack swam upward towards the moon.

Jack heard the splash before the trout swam for him. It rammed into Jacks side before the fish opened its mouth and sucked. Jack barely managed to extend his tentacles into time to stop his body from getting sucked in. The fish turned sharply, and Jack used his grip to slide under the fish before applying his own suction. He managed to attach his sucker under the fish’s lip and wrap his tentacles around the fish. Luck was his answer all along. Without it, Jack wouldn’t have seen the fish coming. But all luck runs out eventually. Jack felt the fish’s blood slid down his throat.

The fish moved about and even leapt out of the water to shake Jack. It was futile, Jack had a death grip on the fish and soon the fish would die.

Description – You gain more loot, win more poker games, and stay alive in the wild. +100% positive outcomes. Fate is much kinder to those born lucky.

It was a weird feeling being lucky. For once Jack felt his worries slip away and that scared him more than anything. The world wasn’t built on luck. This was a world of merit.

The fish he was latched on to finally gave up the ghost. Jack continued to hold on even as it floated to the surface. Once there hid grasping on to the fish for dear life.

Jack had never eaten a fish whole and he would keep it that way. Fish were boney creatures and the Eldritch leech didn’t like the idea of passing such a large creature. Yet, he was compelled to consume. It didn’t make sense, but he wanted to consume the fish. The thought of adding the large trout to his own bulk was tempting. There had to be something wrong with him. Bloating up with a fish would make him a target. The pond shook, and a feather fell beside him. Jack dove next to the fish for cover.

Only the fish was the goal all along. Water, the fish, and Jack were taken into the bill of a pelican. Jack moved about thinking quickly. This was not going to work. If he tried to escape the old-fashioned way. The bird’s beak would slice him in half. He looked back to see the pelican’s throat open as he and the fish were about to take a ride. Jack positioned himself atop the fish as they took the plunge.

The pelican’s throat wasn’t precise enough to squish him and he ended up atop the fish in the crop of the pelican. The crop was a food storage area for birds. Pelican’s were no different. There was a lot of fish fathered around him and stomach acids splashed dousing him and the fish.

Pain shot through him as he let out a silent screech. There weren’t a lot of options. He placed his sucker against the side of the bird’s crop and began sucking. His saliva killed the feeling and soon he tasted delicious blood. The acid was eating away at his skin but perhaps a little bit of blood would help. Jack’s saliva opened the veins of the pelican.

Acting quickly, he rolled in the flowing blood before latching on again. Jack kept his body small as he fed off the bird.

Jack was a freaking genius and he knew it. No one else would think to wrap themselves in the pelican’s sticky blood to protect themselves from the acid. He had lucked out and now this bird was his to kill. The acid still fell on him from time to time, but the acid damage was negligible. He managed to raise dexterity again and his health regen thanked him. Every 10 points of DEX was another point in health regen but until he reached 10, he would only have 1 point in health regen. Drinking blood healed the damage to his body.

The most he could hope to gain from the skill at lv100 was 10% protection from acid. That was true for every skill. He didn’t have enough information to make himself truly immune to something like a pelican’s digestive acid. For all he knew these skills might go up to lv999. Still some acids may do enough damage to make 99.9% acid damage resist pointless. The only way to evolve this skill was to experience the worst acid had to offer.

Jack felt when the Pelican landed and then the upheaval began. The crop upturned and only his suction kept him in place as the fish rose up and out of the pelican’s throat. The pelican continued to squawk and shake but Jack was stuck in place. Eventually it settled down to leave Jack to feed in peace.

The pelican must have had one hell of a HP regen because Jack wasn’t holding back. He was swelling and drinking more blood than ever. The pelican was stopped wherever it was, and Jack was going to drain it dry.

When the pelican’s heart began to give out Jack knew he was winning. The leech had expanded like a balloon bringing both of his gluttony skills up to 20.

Hours had passed as he drained away the bird’s blood. It was night again and time was passing by. The pelican’s heart finally stopped. Jack watched the muscles above him go slack. He crawled out of the now loose throat and came upon an interesting sight. Pelican chicks shivered beneath the mother pelican. The mate of the water foul was nowhere to be seen. Jack wiggled his tentacles in anticipation.

The first chick had been easy enough. They were soft, weak, and freshly hatched. Jack had opened his mouth over the bird’s beak and then used his tentacles to restrain the creature. From there it had been a simple matter to guide his prey through and crush its bones with his throat. His stomach bulged even as he levels his stealth and added the other chicks to his expanding form.

Jack had become a creature of nightmares. He was a black leech with a great purple eye on his head. He was nearly a foot and a half long and as thick as a child’s hand. Dozens of tentacles covered his body moving of their own accord. Some twisted and made sturdier legs while others moved about ready for action.

Unfortunately, the mother wasn’t on the menu, she was too large. Instead Jack slithered down the high rocks where the pelican made its nest. He stood up and walked down the mountain walking on tentacle legs.

From here on out, he needed speed and dexterity. Looking around with his great eye, he saw a myriad of nest situated in the cliffs over looking what he thought had been a small pound. Now high above the body of water he could tell it was a mighty lake. With a quick guess he thought he had been rather close to the cliff face. There wasn’t a current. Further on the lake, he could see the algae flow steadily into the current and get swept away.

Minimizing the window allowed him to hold off his decision for now. His guts were bloated and full of pelican chicks. If he had a tongue, he would rub it over his sucker right now. All around him there were pelican nests ripe for the taking. He hid near a larger rock and watched a few of the larger black feathered pelicans prowl around looking for predators.
