The 114 report and peach blossoms bloom together
Yongzheng's dark eyes flashed with a hint of brightness as he looked at his son, who was sunk in thought. His lips curled up slightly - this kid must be worried about his mother, Yunzhu, being troubled. In the past, Ula Nara had also given birth to Honghui several years after their grand wedding, and before that, she had not been spared from the verbal jabs of her sisters-in-law and the intentional suppression by Empress De. Speaking of which, those few years in the palace were indeed difficult, but it was also the best time for the couple's relationship. "Well, when your mother was alive, your brothers and uncles all had a chance to go on excursions to Mulan or Nanjing with her... I haven't left Beijing in years... Hmm, Wang Qin, go ask Old Five's family if they want to spend a few days relaxing at the villa too."
"Hmm." When the eunuch Wang Qin went to receive the imperial edict, he came back in no time. The Fifth Lady Fucha thought of staying in the East Wing to take care of Beile Ye and Xiao A Ge.
Yongzheng shook his head, chuckled and said to Hongli who was eager to return and inform Yunzhu: "Alright, go back and prepare for departure. By the way, ask your wife if she still has that homemade green tea, it's quite good, my thirteenth uncle drank some...hmm, mine is almost finished too."
He nodded heavily, "Yes, son will definitely bring the message."
Returned to Ganxi's second place, listened to Yongzheng's words, Yunzhu smiled and presented two bamboo buckets of self-made tea leaves, and put a new batch of elm coin-shaped cookies on a plate into the food box, letting Wang Jinbao and Suwen take it to Yongzheng.
Yongzheng was really considerate, he sent someone to the East Three Houses to ask Wu Fu Jun, Xi Guifei couldn't say anything about her again, she could have a worry-free and carefree holiday, and unlock the last layer of seal on the jade tripod. Returning favors, she would certainly be filial to him.
"Are you happy?" Hongli saw her smile like a fox who had stolen oil, and couldn't help but stretch out his hand to pinch her small nose. Yunzhu slightly frowned and pushed away his hand, "My nose is already not straight enough, if you pinch it again, it will be even uglier." How come he's treating her more and more like a child?
For the first time hearing her say that she also has a love for beauty, Hong Li felt fresh and interesting, and hurriedly comforted: "Not ugly, not ugly, my Fu Jin is the most beautiful under the sky."
"She gave him a white eye, and also prepared a small can of tea leaves and some snacks for the road, dried meat." "Is Chunhe going this time too? You must be careful on the way." They almost always encounter assassins every time they go out, and the other side seems to be getting more and more unscrupulous.
"Don't worry." Hongli kissed her, "The patrol will take at most a month. When we return, we'll go directly to the villa to pick you up... By the way, where are you planning to stay?"
"My two largest dowry estates, one is in Jing Mountain and the other is in Fang Mountain. During the earthquake in the seventh year of Yongzheng's reign, the estate in Jing Mountain was severely damaged, especially the small hot spring area, while the one in Fang Mountain was not affected much... Let's live in Jing Mountain, and we can go to Fang Mountain when there's a chance. Speaking of which, I contributed a lot of effort to the rebuilding and redesign of the estate in Jing Mountain."
"All right, take more guards with you when you go out." He repeatedly reminded her.
"I know, I know." She was getting impatient, "Let's go already."
Hongli was so angry that he grabbed her and kissed her fiercely, only letting go reluctantly in the end. "Remember to miss me."
Reluctantly agreed, Yunzhu tiptoed and lightly kissed him once.
He left, and Yunzhu let Suwen pack the luggage, and then asked Mingxin to pick up Zhiyan and others, driving a horse-drawn carriage out of the palace, heading straight for Jing Mountain. Fuhui was very envious of Zhiyan, but he was already eleven years old now, and it didn't seem like when he was seven or eight years old that he followed Yunzhu around.
Clouds and mist rise a thousand feet high against the red hills, The carriage descends, and all the mountains and rivers are gathered in one glance.
This is a poem written by Kangxi after he ascended to Jing Mountain and gazed out at the capital city, seeing the morning mist swirling around, the rosy glow flowing like clouds. Danqiu, where the immortals dwell, was used by Kangxi to describe Jing Mountain, showing its beautiful scenery.
In ancient times, Jing Mountain was the same as Beihai, and it was the old course of the Yongding River. During the Liao Dynasty, a temporary palace was built here, and soil was piled up to form "Qingshan" (a small hill). In the Yuan Dynasty, it was designated as a private garden for the emperor's pleasure. During the Ming Hongwu period, the old palace of the Yuan Dynasty was demolished, and Zhu Di, the Chengzu Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, built the city walls, palaces, and gardens in Beijing on a large scale. According to the legend "Canglong, Baihu, Zhuque, Xuanwu, Tian's four spirits, with the right four directions", the north of the Forbidden City is the position of Xuanwu, so there should be a mountain. Therefore, the soil excavated from the moat of the Forbidden City and the mud from Taiye and Nanhai were piled up on "Qingshan" to form five peaks, called "Wansui Mountain".
The mountain is covered with fruit trees, commonly known as "Baiguo Garden" or "Beiguo Garden". On the northeast corner of the mountain, there are Shouhuang Temple and other temples, where emperors would ascend to high places, admire flowers, drink and feast, and shoot arrows. The Guande Temple in the northeast part of the garden was originally a place for Ming dynasty emperors to practice archery. At the foot of the mountain, cranes and deer are raised in groups, symbolizing longevity. Every year on the Double Ninth Festival, the emperor would ascend to this high place to gaze far away, seeking long life.
By the 12th year of the Shunzhi Emperor in the Qing dynasty, the Shunzhi Emperor changed "Wan Sui Shan" to "Jing Shan".
The Fuca family's ancestors had a large portion of land in the area near Jing Mountain, including orchards and fields, due to their close relationship with the emperor. During the difficult times of Emperors Shunzhi and Kangxi, they stood by the emperor's side and supported him, and as a result, many of their lands were located near the imperial palace. Therefore, Yunzhu's dowry estate was in an excellent location, with mountains, water, orchards, high-quality rice fields, and a view of the beautiful scenery of the imperial palace. The surrounding estates were also owned by relatives, making it extremely safe.
The orchard of the mountain villa is a slope and hillside terrain, planted with ginkgo, peach, apple, grape and persimmon, taking the construction experience of Jing Mountain in Beijing in the previous life. The courtyard where Yunzhu lives is located in the center of the villa, about 10 mu (about 0.67 hectares), with a simple shape, matching the distant palace shape, but the space planning inside is very simple, without so many ear rooms and compartments, doors and windows are also opened extremely bright. Except for the main room with three bays in the middle, which has a bathroom, other houses except for the servants' quarters and several storage rooms, there are also guest rooms on both sides of the wing and a gatehouse for the doorkeeper.
There are many peonies, crabapples and magnolia trees planted in the courtyard. Outside the courtyard, there is a wide lawn surrounded by peach orchards, plum orchards and Osmanthus fragrans forests. Every year during the flower season, people would pick flowers, dry them and send them to the palace for her. Further outside is the outer courtyard where the servants live, which includes outhouses, kitchen, stable, woodshed, warehouse, bathroom...
In addition to the orchard and the villa, there are also 50 mu of good paddy fields and a 10-mu lotus pond with living water.
Jing Shan Zhuang's current housekeeper, Ling Long, has been restless since receiving the news of Yunzhu's arrival. She had washed and dried a set of new bedding in the sun, and thoroughly cleaned the living quarters. She also personally led the farmhands to wait outside the manor.
The master's residence, the guard's residence, everything is arranged properly. "Since I became a slave, the master has never been to this villa," she said with joy, "How has the master been doing lately?" She had one or two chances every year to enter the palace and give Cloud Pearl the output of the villa, allowing her to meet with her mistress. However, such opportunities sometimes could not be realized, for example when she happened to be giving birth or sitting in confinement.
"Everything is fine." Yunzhu smiled and said, "You're not having two little ones, why don't you bring them for me to see?"
"Hey, you're all dirty and tattered from climbing trees and catching birds, and rolling around in the mud. You can't present yourself to Master like that." She smiled warmly, her body a bit plumper after marriage and childbirth, but her lively and cheerful personality had become even more radiant with age.
Knowing that she had some concerns, Yunzhu smiled and said: "There are a few branches of overseas orange trees broken on the back car, I plan to graft them here, do you have citrus varieties here?"
"There are seven or eight of them near the peach forest outside the yard."
"That's good."
"Yes. Should the master wash up first or have dinner?" It's not yet time for dinner, but Linglong knew that she was in charge of the three meals a day in the mansion, and in Qianxi's second house, food and drink were readily available, unlike in ordinary people's homes.
"I'll take a rest first, and then have dinner when I wake up. Others can eat if they're hungry." This ancient carriage is really uncomfortable to ride in. It's indeed difficult for me to adapt from luxury to simplicity, whether I like it or not. "Zhi Xiang, are you going to rest with Fourth Aunt or have dinner?" Yun Zhu turned around and asked Zhi Xiang, who was in Autumn's arms.
Zi Xiang had already been sleepy for some time and said without hesitation: "With Fourth Aunt."
……
When she woke up, Su Wen and Ye Yigong had already arranged the things they brought, and Linglong even asked Su Wen to find someone to graft the branches of the umbilical orange tree.
Anyway, Yunzhu's residence is not far from where she lives, so she can only look for an opportunity to water the space again.
Arriving at Jing Mountain, it's a must to climb the mountain. Especially in spring when all things revive, the forest is full of vitality and a new greenery, reminiscent of many poems. Yunzhu brought everyone to climb the mountain and tread on the green early next morning.
It's now in the spring when everything is thriving, occasionally seeing fresh and delicious wild vegetables or mushrooms that have just emerged from the ground after a new rain, or some tasty mountain wild fruits, I would secretly put them into space to enrich its variety.
At the age of four, Princess Zhi Xiang was often taken by her wet nurse, Autumn Shi, to play in the garden or take a stroll in the fields when the sun shone brightly and warmly. The little girl would chirp excitedly like a restless bird whenever she saw Yun Zhu, telling her all about the new things she had discovered.
At night, she sometimes tidies up the objects in the space, plants fruit seedlings or medicinal herbs on the expanded soil, and more often sits under the Yulan tree, relying on her divine consciousness to absorb the spiritual energy of the space. She strikes the seal on the jade tripod, and every time she completes a cycle, the patterns and seals on the jade tripod change. The original ivory-white jade tripod gradually changes from a reddish-brown color to a flowing, colorful hue. Its texture also undergoes a transformation, and now even Yunzhu can't tell what kind of metal or crystal it's made of, or whether it's both, or something else entirely.
Now, her divine consciousness has grown to the point where it is almost detached from her body, but this phenomenon can only be achieved in space. It was also at this time that she deeply realized that choosing to cultivate her divine consciousness (spirit) was actually a very dangerous thing. If there was no space, which was extremely safe and full of spiritual energy, she would be injured if she was startled during cultivation, which was an extremely terrifying thing for cultivators, more serious than physical injury and not easy to recover from.
However, because there was space in it, her cultivation was too secure, and it was simply the best cheating tool prepared for her. In a safe and worry-free situation, she used her divine sense to communicate and manipulate the spiritual energy of space with ease, and the fusion of her soul and space became more harmonious through repeated refinement.
"What exactly is sealed inside?" After the印诀 and 阵法 were completed layer by layer, it became the most profound and complex seal. Yunzhu no longer dared to underestimate this jade tripod, obtaining it was like finding a dusty night pearl in a garbage heap, too astonishing. It's very likely that it's also an artifact passed down from ancient times, but the person who obtained it couldn't unlock its mysteries, so they treated it as just a symbolic ornament.
The nth time the divine consciousness was withdrawn, it could no longer be explored.
Looking at the vibrant space, Yun hesitated whether to take a risk. She cherished her current life, where she could eat her fill, sleep soundly, and have loved ones around her - a life she had dreamed of countless times in the post-apocalyptic world; yet she also knew that the meaning of life lay in constantly making choices and taking risks, so that the next moment would bring "surprises" - whether they brought joy or sorrow.
She was never a person who followed the rules and waited for fate to decide. If it weren't for the ancient memories left behind by the Jade Orchid Tree, she wouldn't have been able to figure out, unlock, and learn the seal techniques and array methods carved on this jade tripod. The starting point is high indeed. However, she hesitated at this last restriction, which means that this jade tripod must be at least from the Sealing God era. What kind of terrifying thing could be inside that would make the powerful being who possessed the jade tripod seal it layer by layer within?
"With so much trouble, is it that you can't kill or don't want to kill?" If there's a living thing inside. If not, what could it be?! If it were just a simple loss of life, there would be no need to consider so much, she fears that even this space will be destroyed."
It's clearly impossible to lift the ban outside of space, she herself has no real yuan power, and only spiritual energy and a small amount of spiritual power are filled within her. Only by relying on divine consciousness can she continuously extract spiritual energy from space, transform it into usable spiritual power, and cast spells and seals. Although it is also possible to extract spatial spiritual energy outside of space and transform it into spiritual power, compared to inside the space, it's like a small stream versus a river, completely unable to support the completion and continuity of the spell.
After a long time, she decided to take a circuitous approach, first using her soul to nurture the jade tripod. If the Yulan tree and space were her innate treasures, having become part of her soul, then she would cultivate this jade tripod as her second treasure... If it were damaged, her divine consciousness would also be injured, but if successful in establishing a connection with it (not yet refining), she could roughly understand what was sealed inside. Even if not, if something happened, she could make some timely adjustments.
Originally afraid of making a big noise by unsealing the Jade Cauldron, I came to the Zhuangzi for a short stay, but now this goal is clearly unreachable.
Once Yunzhu made up her mind, she no longer hesitated. Every night, she would return to her space and use her divine sense to envelop and nurture the jade cauldron. From initially feeling awkward and unaccustomed, to gradually calming down and focusing her mind, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to sensing everything about it. After more than 20 days had passed, she surprisingly found that her divine sense had become even more solidified.
Even if there is space, without external interference, she can continuously refine her spiritual consciousness. However, the solidification and growth of spiritual consciousness are also slow. From having a space to deciding to choose the path of refining her spirit, until now, her spiritual consciousness still cannot leave her body in space.
In the third month of spring, peach blossoms are in full bloom. The peach forest outside the courtyard gradually presents a stunning pink hue, with fragrance wafting through the air.
On the third day, Zhi Xiang held a small bamboo basket and stood on a sturdy little square table, cutely and clumsily learning from Yunzhu's appearance to pick the peach blossoms that were about to fall. She asked: "Fourth sister, why are we picking peach blossoms?"
"Let's brew peach blossom wine." Three or four-year-old children are at the age where they love to imitate, as long as it's safe and harmless, Yunzhu doesn't mind her following her around and copying what she does.
"Is peach blossom wine drinkable?"
Yes.
"Can I drink it?"
"When you grow up."
She still has to grow up, there are many things she can't eat until she grows up, and many games she can't play until she grows up... Her little mouth pouted for a moment, but soon smiled again, now picking peach blossoms is also very fun. She likes Fourth Aunt so much, she will accompany her to play, give her delicious food, she wants to live with Fourth Aunt together, but Autumn Granny said no. Alas!
With Suwen, Sixi, Shimu, Zhihuan and others, they picked enough peach blossoms. In the following days, Yunzhu separately brewed peach blossom wine and peach blossom white chrysanthemum wine, and dried the rest into dry flowers.
"Fourth Aunt, if we pick the flowers, won't the peach tree produce fewer peaches?" Zhiyan asked, wrinkling her small nose. Peaches are delicious, she had eaten some sent by Fourth Aunt last July, and Autumn Granny said they used to have them before, but she couldn't remember very clearly.
"We didn't pick all the flowers from the branch, did we? The remaining peaches will grow bigger and sweeter in the future." The logic behind this was a bit difficult for a three-year-old girl to understand, so Yunzhu usually just told her the result.
Zi Xiang seemed to understand and nodded, her expression making Su Wen ask a few questions and couldn't help but laugh.
Picking flowers and brewing wine only took a few days, and after the busy work was over, Yunzhu felt a bit idle again. The warm sunshine made her feel lazy, but unfortunately, her physical clock, which had been formed over the years, was even stronger. She sat in front of the flowers after waking up, feeling the gentle warmth of the sun, and the peach blossoms were truly "a thousand branches of red flowers burning with spring". This beauty, as if it were burning life itself, made her want to play the zither under the flowers, drink wine, and dance.
Getting harder and harder to hold back...
"Shì Mò, go get my 'Green Ribbon' and bring it over. Su Wen, Si Qi, do you still remember that piece 'Divine Joy'? Let's play it." She said with great enthusiasm. "Divine Joy" is a guqin piece composed by modern guqin master Gong Yi based on the "Xī Mù Táng Qín Tǒng", adapted by Zhōu Chéng Lóng, performed solo by Gōng Yī and accompanied by the Shanghai National Orchestra's small ensemble. Like "Butterfly Transformation", it is one of Yunzhu's favorite pieces from her past life.
The original score of "Shén Rén Chàng" has a preface that says: "Composed by Tang Yao", and there is also a legend about the "Divine Music"... The melody has some remnants of Han and Wei dynasty music, depicting ancient palace dance scenes, and telling the mythological story of "Yao playing the zither, divine people appearing".
Before such a beautiful scene, Yunzhu wants to swing the elegance in her heart freely. Not to mention moving heaven and earth, but she wants to rely on the music that is sometimes gentle and smooth, sometimes magical and unrestrained, passionate and wonderful to recreate the joyful song and dance, celebrating this grand occasion.
"Master, what's this?"
Yunzhu laughed and said: "I want to dance!"
Yeh's mother was startled, "Let me go and make some arrangements first." Can't let idle people see.
"I'll go prepare too." Having learned sewing and embroidery, she had seen many movies, TV dramas, performances... ancient costumes in games, plus many fabrics that are difficult to reproduce in modern times, for her after crossing over, it was easy as pie. She didn't hesitate to make a lot of the ancient costumes she dreamed of, putting them in her space, thinking that finding one to match the scene and music would be a piece of cake.
After dressing up and coming out, everyone was stunned!
In the spring light, her hair was combed into a Wanyan bun, with a peach blossom branch inserted at an angle, half hanging down behind her back, and tied with a pink ribbon under her shoulder. Her slender neck and delicate face, which had just shown its beauty, were lightly stained with peach red, light purple, and purple red flower powder, making up a face as enchanting as a peach fairy's, intoxicating people's hearts.
She was wearing a pink embroidered white flower wrapped chest inside, outside with snow gauze long skirt, same color high waist, and the hem of the skirt from bottom to top embroidered with layers of flying peach blossoms from deep to light, sleeve long like smoke belt, skirt thin like smoke cage, occasionally with flying peach petals, dancing butterflies...
This is simply heavenly, too beautiful!
"Are you ready?" Besides Shi Mo playing the guqin, Si Xue and Su Wen had also set up two instruments in front of them to accompany the music. It had been a long time since they last played this piece together, and now they were all focused, looking so serious that Ye Xiaoyu, who had just rushed back, looked at them with extra surprise.
……
Hongli and Fu Heng arrived hastily with a few guards when Linglong was guarding the outer areas of Taolin, Meilin, and Yuguilin with over ten rough servant women. Upon hearing that Yunzhu had given orders not to let anyone approach Hongli and Fu Heng found it somewhat strange, but the inner courtyard was originally a place where outsiders were not allowed to enter lightly. The guards who came with them stayed in the outer courtyard, so they stopped her from reporting and strolled in casually.
Not yet having entered the peach forest, I already hear the music.
The overtones of the music are like distant drumbeats, beating slowly and then quickly, with high-pitched notes repeating in large sections of clear and bright overtones, as if a god is appearing in the sky...
They quickened their pace, passing through the deep red and light red, and were stunned by the beauty in front of them! At this time, the majestic sound was bold and shocking, following the subtle rhythm, the people on the green grass raised their arms, swung their shoulders, threw their sleeves, bent their waists, and the ribbons flew, like clouds unfolding, like a rainbow with silk, treading snow and wind, clear wind and bright moon, butterflies flying and flowers dancing, dragonflies turning, lips smiling, eyes gazing, intoxicating people's hearts...
A spring breeze blows, petals of peach blossoms float away from branches, dancing in the air towards people spinning around, even the colorful butterflies flutter up and down, reluctant to leave.
Her eyes were slightly closed, and she was fully immersed in a kind of communication with the gods and the universe, as if performing a heavenly music dance, or like a flower fairy dancing with flowers, joyful and sincere.
The peach blossoms drift away with the flowing water, and there is another world beyond this one that is not of human realm.
The peach blossoms are falling gently, but she wants to fly away into the sky.
"Yunzhu!" Hongli was greatly shocked, and he flew forward to hug her tightly, the sound of the guqin also stopped abruptly.
Yunzhu looked at the person holding her horizontally, disregarding the fine sweat on his forehead, and smiled with a faintly sweet delight: "How did you come so quickly? Didn't we agree on one month?"
Is the peach blossom fairy in his arms? He stared at her exceptionally beautiful face, tightly embracing her for a long time before hoarsely saying: "We'll shorten our journey. You... how did you suddenly start dancing here?"
She said with a smile: "I saw the spring light was so beautiful, the peach forest was exceptionally beautiful and charming, I suddenly wanted to dance, so I danced!"
He was speechless.
"It's so hot." She pushed him away, "I'll go take a bath first!"
He relaxed his hand, then his eyes slid down to the snow-like nape of her neck, his eyebrows slightly furrowed, and he tightened his arms around her again, ignoring her struggles. He turned to a nearby servant, Shi Mo, and said, "Go get a cloak!"
"It's too hot, I don't want it."
Hongli stared at her for a long time, then reluctantly let go of her and watched as she led Shuwen and Suwen into the gate. Ye Yayi smiled and instructed the servants to prepare washing facilities, food, and accommodations for the two young masters. Autumn Yayi quietly retreated with Zhi Xiang, not daring to come forward to pay respects at this moment. Having just seen the dance of the Fourth Madame, she was still unable to calm her mind, it was too shocking! It was simply stunning.
"Brother-in-law, doesn't my sister look great dancing? I'm seeing it for the second time too." Fu Heng smiled lightly. A sister like this, in her brother-in-law's heart, even if she can't be one-of-a-kind, is still irreplaceable.
Hongli turned around and glared at his younger brother-in-law, feeling indignant in his heart. If he hadn't happened to come, would he have never seen her dance for the rest of his life?! What's even more infuriating is that such a beautiful appearance was actually seen by someone else!!
At dinner time, everyone was still talking about that song and that shocking dance, their minds were preoccupied.
After returning to the house, he mentioned his discontent in his heart. Yunzhu responded to his complaint with an innocent smile: "Playing the piano and dancing require interest, where can I quietly dance in the palace?"
Actually, when they entered the villa, she already knew that this was a great opportunity, and if she didn't maximize her benefits, she would be a fool. It's just right to let him be amazed for a while, so he wouldn't get used to seeing only her elegant and refined side, and eventually put her in the pile of uninteresting people.
He couldn't help but feel a thud in his heart. He had no idea that she had such a side, that she could be so carefree and ethereal, beautiful like a dream! On the one hand, he was jealous of the people around her who got to appreciate her unique charm, on the other hand, he couldn't help but want to see that breathtakingly beautiful scene again.
However, she was right. In the palace, as a future imperial son-in-law, she had to be dignified and elegant at all times. How could she easily dance? He also didn't want this beautiful and captivating dance to be seen by others.
"From now on, only I can watch her dance, no one else is allowed to see it." He declared tyrannically, Chun and that kid won't have the chance to see her dance again, nor will anyone else.
"Can you accompany me?" Hongli choked, the zither, he only knew how to listen, play, it was said that half a tone was enough, and he couldn't help but smile awkwardly. "Alright, I'll ask them to accompany you."
She smiled lightly, "It was originally not intended to be seen or heard by others, so I let the attendants around me learn musical instruments together. Sometimes when I'm in a bad mood, I can also have them play the piano to soothe my emotions. If I don't use them, wouldn't that make their learning useless? You are someone who does great things for the country and the people, what's the point of learning this minor art?"
"I'm just jealous that they can always be by your side, witnessing your glory..." He confessed, his words laced with helplessness. He had long understood that life couldn't be perfect, he was human not a god, so she didn't need to comfort him in a roundabout way.
She innocently smiled: "In this regard, I am powerless!"
He rushed over and kissed her fiercely until they were both out of breath before letting go. "When will you dance again?"
"They say you can only dance when you're in high spirits, I rarely dance..."
"But I want to see, I love it so much, you are so beautiful..." Gently kissing her lips, winding down to the snowy embankment, leaving behind a peach blossom imprint after another.
Someone's gentle skills are getting better and better, and Yunzhu can't keep up with him. She had to promise that she would give him a dance on his birthday. In her joyful daze, she thought to herself, anyway, she hadn't promised which year's birthday it was.
Everyone is thinking of making dumplings this year... forget it.
In this warm and beautiful paradise, the two of them spent several days living a life like that of celestial beings. During the day, they strolled and admired the green mountains and clear waters, while at night, Yunzhu's teasing made Hongli's life even more blissful. This period of time often left him with fond memories and longing for a long time afterwards.
Originally, he wanted to spend a leisurely life with Yunzhu, but unfortunately, at the end of March, news came from Beijing that Princess Consort Xilin of Ningguo, wife of Emperor Qianlong's brother Hongzhou, had passed away. Emperor Qianlong had no choice but to bring Yunzhu back to the palace in a hurry.
