Chapter 19: If God Cannot, Then Who Can?
Primer, once again floating in the void, closed his eyes and uttered a spell.
“Crown of the Lord.”
Suddenly, a profound transformation shook his body. The core of his heartlit form glowed, shining like a lantern. His tiny, doll-like body trembled, growing steadily into a giant. But that was not enough — soon, he expanded to the size of a 500-meter titan, and still, the growth did not stop. Primer grew larger and larger until his body rivaled Earth, then the Sun, and finally, the astronomical growth came to an end.
Despite his colossal form, he bore no real weight. His current appearance was born purely of magic and mana, not of actual elements.
So this is the feeling of godhood that Isis spoke of? How delightful and intoxicating... But is this true power? Only a fool believes that growing bigger means growing stronger. It merely turns you into a larger, easier target.
His gaze then fell upon the black-and-red hellish planet.
“It is time to see what happens when these two are combined.”
Primer extended a vast hand and encircled the hellish planet, pulling it toward himself. With his other hand, he drew the once-water-filled planet closer. Both planets were torn from their orbits and brought face to face. Primer pressed them together and then—BOOM!
An explosion erupted, surpassing the magnitude of millions of hydrogen bombs. The universe lost its color, the fabric of space and time trembled, temperatures soared, and within minutes, the lifespan of two ancient planets came to an end.
But Primer’s intent was not merely destruction — his true goal was to create a new planet, one crafted to his own design.
With relentless effort and powerful magic, he fused the two worlds and eventually formed a planet even larger than Earth. Using the remaining debris from the explosion, he crafted a moon to orbit his new world. He positioned the moon in its orbit, then placed the planet within the habitable zone of its solar system. Another planet already resided in that region, but Primer moved it aside to prevent interference.
He observed them closely to ensure no catastrophic events — like orbital collisions or ejections — would occur. After three thousand years, he finally succeeded in stabilizing the planet and confirmed that everything functioned properly.

Now that it is safe, I can move on to the next part of my plan.
From time to time, Primer visited his inner realm to monitor the changes. Thankfully, nothing unfortunate had happened to the tiny beings residing there — they continued living and reproducing.
Thus, he decided it was time to return what he had once taken from the two planets.
He dispelled the spell, reabsorbing the mana from the massive body and returning to his original form.
Then he opened the gate to his inner realm, scattering volcanoes and mountains across the surface of the new planet. At his command, the waters divided into two distinct groups — one, the ocean water from the real world, and the other, the still sea, which reflected the sky like a mirror.
By his order, the ocean water flowed out from his inner realm and filled the newborn planet. Yet, his work was far from over — this was only the beginning.
He gathered living creatures, releasing some into the real world while keeping others within himself.
Primer then emerged from his inner realm and returned to the physical world to carry out the next phase of his vision.
He knelt on the soil and pressed his silver palms upon it. Waves of immense, countless energy surged into the planet, dyeing the dead land a deep purple. The energy spread like tree roots, seeping into the water, soil, and the stones deep within.
Primer infused the planet with his life essence — his mana — spending what he had gathered over millions of years as if it were loose change caught in the wind. But why? Was it truly logical to do such a thing without reason?
I want to create a beautiful, magical world — not a mundane one tainted by weak and wicked people.
I will uproot suffering from my world! Had I heard this from someone else when I was still human, I would have accused them of madness or foolish idealism. But now, I possess a power that kings and politicians can only dream of in their sleep.
If I cannot do this, then who can?
The reason for the mana infusion was singular — domination. By pouring his own refined mana into the world, Primer could exert infinite authority and dominion over it, like a true god. And he could not deny himself that — for it wasn’t only about power, but also about building a magical and enchanted world.
Without magical energy, how could such a world exist? As far as Primer knew, it was impossible.
This is my one chance to make a significant change in my empty and aimless life. If I succeed, I can create a real world and escape this wandering existence.
Primer spent hundreds, perhaps thousands of years channeling energy into the planet. At last, his dominion took hold across land and sea — the roots of his authority spread everywhere.
Seeing that no more energy was needed, he ceased his efforts and rose from the ground.
His once-hopeful and determined gaze, now under the shadow of this tremendous energy expenditure, gave way to a fatigue and drowsiness beyond human comprehension. He had moved past exhaustion — he felt as though he was fading away from existence.
Staggering, he reached a stone slab, laid down upon it, and fell into a slumber — the deepest he had ever known.
