XHOSA FACILITY HOUSEHOLD:
A week later Nesta teleported at Xhosa Facility Household, where he was going to get the rest of the embers. The air shifted violently the moment he appeared. He slowly raised his head, then his body, scanning everything around him with sharp, calculating eyes. Ahead of him stood the other warriors, already assembled, already waiting. A faint smile formed on his face — not of joy, but of expectation fulfilled. In that very moment, a powerful domain surrounded them — the overwhelming spiritual force of a Pedi warrior sealing the battlefield. The ground trembled under the weight of it. The warriors looked fully prepared for him, but Nesta was not surprised. He knew this was inevitable. South African cultures had come together, united for one purpose — to take him down. But Nesta did not hesitate. He stepped forward with certainty, determined to fight every single one of them and reach the embers. The warriors of each culture stood tall and straight before him, their eyes fearless, their spirits unshaken.
The atmosphere grew unbearably intense. The tension was so thick it felt like it could be sliced apart with a blade. Everything felt suspended, as if time itself had paused to witness what was about to unfold. In that stillness, they all knew — everything was on the line. On the other side, the leaders of each culture guarded the embers, hands clasped together in prayer, hoping desperately that Nesta would be stopped. The Pedi leader, however, did not pray. He stared toward the battlefield in silence. His stillness planted doubt among the other leaders, but he calmly reassured them that the boy he once knew no longer existed. What stood there now was something else entirely.
At that moment, Nesta and the warriors of the other cultures erupted into the most proficient battle imaginable. The clash of powers ignited the air itself. Flames, force, energy — everything became a blaze. Nesta refused to hold back. From the very beginning, he manifested his full potential. He fought relentlessly against the warriors, but the powers of the other cultures were equally strong, keeping them at equal length with him. Imagine one person against nearly eleven powerful cultural warriors — yet Nesta stood as their equal.
Each culture unleashed its abilities without hesitation. The Zulus manifested power through their spears, generating shields and devastating force. The Venda moved objects with their minds, twisting the battlefield itself. The Ndebele created powerful forcefields around anything they desired. The Pedi called upon the animal that represented them. The Xhosa strengthened their bodies or any object within their hands. The Afrikaners formed powerful armory constructs and fired them with crushing intensity. All the other cultures were using their abilities without restraint, yet Nesta was using only the three abilities he possessed — and still, he stood equivalent to them.
One ability that made Nesta struggle was the Pedi warrior representing the cheetah. With terrifying speed, cheetahs materialized and tore across the battlefield. Their pace was relentless, their movements almost impossible to track. They distracted Nesta constantly, forcing him to divide his focus. Landing a strike on one felt like pure luck or a rare mistake from the summoner. The speed and unpredictability irritated him deeply. Nesta grew annoyed, and his eyes locked onto the Pedi warrior controlling them. He wanted him.
Breaking through the chaos, Nesta teleported directly beside the Pedi warrior. But what he did not know was that the warrior was protected by a shield created by the Ndebele warrior. The impact was solid and unforgiving. Anger surged through Nesta. He began punching the shield repeatedly, each strike filled with frustration, but it would not break. He stopped. He looked directly at the Pedi warrior — they knew each other from childhood. The Pedi warrior’s face showed disappointment, but Nesta answered coldly, “You all betrayed me. What did you expect me to do?” The cheetah distraction was still unresolved, and the overwhelming manpower pressed heavily against him. He tried to reach the Ndebele warrior, but they would not allow it. They forced him to fight on all fronts.
As he glanced toward the distance, he saw something that tightened his jaw — a ritual dance taking place at the top of a mountain. The Swati were dancing again, performing the ritual he despised with all his life. Nesta continued fighting, though he was being overwhelmed. Blow after blow struck him, yet he refused to stop. He kept pushing forward, determined that nothing would block his path to the embers. The leaders continued praying that he would not gain more power. But the battle only intensified. Everything erupted further when the Swati finished their dance. They unleashed their ritual power directly toward Nesta.
He saw the blast racing toward him — and in that instant, he formed an idea. He teleported next to the shielded Pedi warrior. The projected power, unable to adjust, redirected and continued in its original direction towards Nesta(locked in to Nesta). The other warriors saw what he was planning, but there was nothing they could do at that moment. Nesta teleported away at the final second. The blasts struck the shield, shattered it completely, and hit the Pedi warrior commanding the cheetahs. The energy exploded violently, disrupting the battlefield and collapsing the domain entirely. The cheetahs vanished. The entire balance of the fight changed in an instant.

Nesta began to laugh — not in madness, but in realization. He explained how their power failed against him. When he teleports, he removes his existence from the real world for a split second. During that moment, the projected power cannot locate, so will no recognize him as a target. It continues in the direction it was heading. In this case, that direction led to the shielded Pedi warrior. After that revelation, Nesta began fighting more equally once again. The warriors struggled to contain him and were forced to send more reinforcements. Another domain formed, surprising him. This time, a different Pedi warrior summoned cows onto the battlefield. Immediately, Nesta understood who to target. He teleported swiftly to the Ndebele warrior and removed him from the battle. Without hesitation, he fought through the summoned cows, exploiting every opportunity to unleash his full power.
However, he did not realize that the leaders had a deeper strategy. They sent additional warriors to execute their plan. Nesta fought fiercely, gaining the upper hand and defeating the others one by one. When the domain finally disappeared, he believed he had won. He moved forward toward the embers — but suddenly, five Zulu warriors surrounded him. Though confused, he was not intimidated. He assumed his martial stance, prepared to fight them.
The Zulu warriors slammed their spears into the ground. The earth cracked open, and a green light burst from the fissures. Nesta tried to escape the area, but the Venda warriors used telekinesis to block his movement. He struggled intensely, barely managing to shift his position, only to discover a shield forming around him. He could not move. He could not attack. Desperately, he attempted to teleport — as if his life depended on it. At that exact moment, a massive rhino dropped from above, striking him downward through the cracks in the earth and sending him crashing into the South African Abyss Imprisonment.
SOUTH AFRICAN ABYSS IMPRISONMENT:
Nesta crashed violently against the rocks of the South African Abyss Imprisonment. The impact echoed. As he looked around, realization struck him — he was back where it had all begun. Frustration consumed him. He prepared to leap back to the surface, but the warriors had already entered the Abyss and surrounded him completely. Every attempt he made to rise was blocked. In that moment, one thing was clear: they wanted him to go down. All he wanted was to go up — but they would not allow it.
So he fought.
Inside the Abyss, Nesta unleashed everything he had. He fought the eleven most powerful cultural warriors — the candidates destined to possibly become the next Ubuntu, the future representative of the entire nation. This was no ordinary fight. These warriors were on another level. Nesta pushed himself beyond limits, but as they clashed, they descended deeper and deeper into the Abyss without him realizing. His focus was singular — fight.
He could not gain advantage. The manpower overwhelmed him. His teleportation was constantly countered by the Afrikaner warrior. He endured more damage than ever before. They outsmarted him repeatedly. His strength began to waver, a rhino crashed him on the wall. In that moment, flashbacks struck him — what he could have become if his father had not disowned him, if the system had not denied him the position of Ubuntu, if the institutional mindset had not rejected him. He tried to use those thoughts as motivation. Light radiated from his body as he forced more power outward.
But it was not enough.
They struck him relentlessly. Blow after blow. He could barely breathe. Then a spear pierced through the chaos and struck him, sending him spiraling even deeper into the Abyss. When he looked up, the warriors were no longer advancing. They stood at the top of the rocks, watching him fall. Tears mixed with fury as he screamed, “What are you doing there? Why are you just standing there? Come on! Fight me! Come on!”
Chains emerged and wrapped around him. He understood what the warriors were doing. A massive hand painted with the South African flag rose from below. Nesta stood upon its palm. In his final words, he whispered bitterly, “Ubuntu… yeah, right.” The hand closed into a fist and dragged him deeper into the Abyss, imprisoning him once more.
The other cultures stood tall as he was taken away. They returned to the surface to inform the leaders. Celebration erupted — chanting, ululation, victory. The Pedi leader, however, stood in disappointment and sorrow. The Venda and Tswana leaders reassured him that Nesta had chosen his path. Everything was as it should be. Yet two embers were missing — the ones Nesta had taken were nowhere to be found.
The Pedi, Venda, and Tswana leaders spoke quietly. The Tswana leader made a shocking assumption: “Nesta o ne a itse jang gore tota a ka bona kae Ember tsena morago ga dingwaga di le 20 kwa kgolegong, o ne a sa na kitso epe ya gore di ba kae.” The Pedi leader asked, “O nyaka goreng Phako?” Before the Tswana leader could answer, the Venda leader interrupted, suggesting they leave the matter for now and celebrate.
EPILOGUE:
A shadowy individual stood in silence, holding the two missing embers in his hands. A slow grin spread across his face as he whispered into the darkness, “Thank you, Nesta. I will show them Ubuntu.”
