Nightmare of Parental abyss

As Ava was in her sleep, in her sleeping nanosuit, she hugged her pillow, and her head was facing sideways. As the windows cast moonlight, the air was breezy and breathable.

As Ava is in her sleep, she could see herself in a room; the details were vivid. As she sees herself in her younger body, her body feels meek, and her skin is pristine white, like milk.

She opened her eyes as she pulled down the purple wool blanket from her neck.

She sat on her bed; the room was dark, her eyes felt haggard, and she stared at the computer. It had one monitor with a desktop that is rather simple with a custom liquid cooler based on the materials or equipment that her mother gave her and a graphic card whose tube is connected to the cooling system. It’s still small, but its thermal dissipation was impressive.

She raised her clenched fist; the skin was white and milky. Then rubbed her eye; the hand was soft and small. She hopped off the bed and kept rubbing her eye with her clenched hand.

She went to a mirror and started looking at the reflection. She was short, quite short, with large almond eyes that were not so emerald as she stared at herself, weary. She was wearing a nanosuit pajama—tiles of white and blue.

She started to step out of the door; soon voices became disturbing. Every thump and noise caught Ava’s attention, and she started moving through it.

The thumpness of a loud voice becomes resonant. There was an open door on the side; it was her brother’s room.

The noise was becoming disturbing, and soon a slight baby crying noise could be heard from afar.

As Ava kept moving and moving, the arguing noises and thump became even more violent.

As Ava kept walking, she heard the noises of two individuals echoing through the hallway, with a slight baby crying.

Ava slowly sneaks from the sides as she sees two figures. One was a beautiful figure with brown hair with little black-tinted locks, arguing with someone who appeared to be tall, wearing eyeglasses. He was European-like but with black hair; his eyes were incredibly psychotic and disturbingly brown, and he was grinding his teeth.

“Now, now. He is my biological material. I don’t think any biological material of mine should stay human,” the male figure, standing at 6 feet.

Cassandra was in front of the crib, her eyes were fierce and protective, and her teeth were grinding against each other.

Meanwhile, Victor, who was the tall male figure with eyeglasses and completely psychotic, said, “Come on, Cassandra, let me invite your child to a new world of Cybergenesis.”

Soon Victor raises his hand holding a cylinder device; he presses the button on the top of the device. Soon the blue neon strip around the middle started to accrue light; it was spinning, and the moving white Voronoi began to spin alongside it, and four mechanical-like wedges sprung out, like it was a missile.

Victor then smiled and said, “Step aside, Cassandra,” with a quiet but manic voice, his eyes devoid of black but empty in the state of a deranged sociopath, his mouth smiling.

“Let me infuse him with my nanobots….” His smile became even more sinister as he slowly sauntered to the child in the crib as he began to raise his device to hit the child.

The baby was crying; he wasn’t past being a baby and was so small—wrapped in cloth.

Ava in her adolescent self could not completely see, since shadows and hues of red and black were associated with them.

Then a feminine roar came through the wall, “No, you can’t! Max is our child. There are things you don’t understand apart from your Project CyberGenesis. Our daughter is not just a robot but a soul that could strategize, feel, think, process, and intuit.”

“All of the things that are good and unique”

Victor was confused; his face began to twitch. “Hahaha, here I thought we were partners…”

“You seduced me? Like to talk about parental love? ” His face twisted into amusement.

“Who would do anything but birth a child of power? And now you refused the same for “

Where Victor made a loud slam of voice, “THE SAME G*DDAMMM CHILD YOU BROUGHT INTO EXISTENCE WITH YOUR PATHETIC INEFFICIENCY, BEAUTY! ”

“DON’T EVER THINK YOU ARE BETTER THAN ME, CASSANDRA.”

“I AM A MAN WORTH A CENTURY OF KNOWLEDGE! THE SOLE PROPRIETOR OF PROJECT CYBERGENESIS, YOU CAN WATCH THE GODDAMN WORLD YOU INHABIT TURN TO ASHES. MAX IS MINE! ”

Where Victor then uses his hand to push Cassandra aside, his little small cybernetics embedded in his arm, and rushes to the crib, where he closes in and then begins raising the cylinder device with wedges from the top; soon below the cylinder device, he pulls out a pointy metal.

“Time to engage nano-conversion tools. Let’s see if this new device of mine called the Nanobot-infuser syringe will work.”

“I DON’T CARE IF HIS GENETICS OR BODY WOULD SURVIVE; I AM GOING TO CONVERT THIS CHILD.”

Where Victor begins to pull down the device to the baby in the crib.

“And soon! The glory of my ultimate project awaits, one that will ELEVATE humanity to new heights of power and glory! ”

Where Cassandra made a spin kick on Victor’s head, making him stumble back with discombobulation as a side effect.

Victor fell near the wall away from the baby who was crying. Victor then lifted himself with his hand, his pride hurt, and his teeth became ground; he was like an animal.

Where Cassandra clenched her hands, “Even if humanity would conquer, this is my child. Victor, he will remain pure in his body, to remind our daughter what she lost.”

“You don’t understand anything; you may have a century’s worth of science, but I am versed in all effects.”

“I am in charge here now! ”Cassandra speaks with volume.

Victor then rushes to the child, but then Cassandra grabs his hands and says, “Stop it, will you?! ”

“Stop doing this! Stop it! ”

“I know I may have seduced you, but you have to understand, let our boy Max be; I know what I am doing.”

“Please leave him alone! “Cassandra!” he screamed as he tried to hold Victor off.

Ava’s eyes watched in horror as the two parental figures fought. Ava was holding her breath, eyes widened in fear as she watched the two figures outside the open door where Ava was standing.

Ava just watched as Victor and Cassandra fought for the fate of her little brother, ‘Max.’ She remembers the time when Ava went to a hospital room somewhere with a baby wrapped in towels on Cassandra’s chest as Cassandra would look at Max tenderly.

Cassandra would touch the pamper of Max’s diaper before being told to be dismissed, “Ava, go back to your room! Now! ”

“Can’t you see I am trying to have a moment here?”

But for Ava, it’s a new member in the family, in the absence of her father.

Victor then smiled with furrowed eyebrows, “Come on, Cassandra. Millions of nanobots are waiting to inhabit him! They would be his personal friends.”

Ava looks at the device and can tell it has somewhat very complicated genetic polymerizing capabilities, and based on the appearance, Ava knows it is right; millions of nanobots are awaiting him in the crib, and the baby in towels is wailing its cry.

Cassandra tries to hold him off, her hands trying to push Victor with all of her strength and force. In spite of his minor cybernetics.

Soon Victor then threw Cassandra away and shouted, “OUT OF THE WAY, CASSANDRA! THIS BABY IS MINE FOR THE TAKEOVER!!! ”

Victor, who had eyeglasses and a tall figure, rushed near the crib; his figure loomed over the crib as he raised his cylinder with a spinning blue neon strip on the cylinder.

“ENJOY YOUR LAST MOMENTS OF SEEING YOUR SH*T CHILD AS HUMAN; NO, EVEN BETTER, ALL WORTHY HUMANS WILL BECOME A BEARER OF MY PERFECT DIVINE INTELLECT.”

Victor was about to inject Max with millions of nanobots but was paused when Cassandra raised up and held the device that Victor was holding, pushing it to the side.

It slightly rotated Victor, facing slightly to Ava who was standing.

Cassandra then makes a devilish smile, her eyes now fueled with victory.

But in Ava’s eyes, she saw the true horrifying colors of her father’s eyes, completely hollowed and dark, and even demonic, soAva, she guarded her face from him as tears pulled down from her eyes.

Victor then waltzed back, and as he completely voluntarily turned to Ava, who was watching him, his voice then changed to something of defeated curiosity with silence, “What are you doing here? ”

Soon Ava’s dreamscape ended, her spine bent forward, and she was breathing in and out.

She panted, trying to collect herself before Ava stood up and looked at the mirror.

She did not have a clear memory of this; Uncle Kurt’s words were probably a trigger of it. A memory that has been suppressed in her subconscious substratum.

“Why did I have that dream?”
