Author’s Afterword

  First and foremost—

  Thank you.

  Truly.

If you made it this far, I want you to know how genuinely excited I am to have you here with me. Whether you've been following since the start, found this story halfway through, or just got hooked by the promise of LitRPG systems, chaos gremlins, soul awakenings, and emotionally unstable power scaling... thank you for giving Avarice Online your time, your attention, and your trust.

This story means a lot to me.

Avarice Online is built on nearly twenty years of worldbuilding, character ideas, campaign notes, te-night "what if" moments, overpowered transformations, system concepts, and the kind of fantasy obsession that never really leaves your bones. For a very long time, this world only existed in fragments—private documents, old ideas, disconnected scenes, scattered lore, and "I'll write this one day" promises to myself. Finally taking the leap and turning all of that into a real story—actually putting pen to digital paper—has been equal parts terrifying, exhausting, and unbelievably rewarding.

  And the craziest part?

What you've seen so far is only the beginning.

Arc 1 is, in a lot of ways, the pilot episode. The opening sequence. The first time the camera pans back and the soundtrack swells and you realize the world is so much bigger than it looked at first. There is so much more coming.

  We're talking:

  epic battles

  Hunter's Guild raids

  rger world factions

  budding romance

  high-level spellcasting

  reality-bending transformations

  monsters in the deep

  demons beneath the surface

and power that will eventually make everything you've seen so far look like the warm-up round

  The Sovereigns are moving.

  The world is changing.

The trio has only just begun to understand what they are becoming.

  So yes...

After a short break, we'll be diving back into Avarice Online Season 2—

  Oops.

  I mean Act 2.

Going forward, I'm also making an adjustment to the posting schedule. Future chapters are going to be longer, with an average target of around 6,000 words, and they'll be spaced out a little more so I can keep the quality where I want it. I thought I could handle the faster pace and just muscle through it, but I found out pretty quickly that twelve-hour writing days are absolutely frying my brain.

So from here on out, updates will go live:

Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 AM CDT

The current estimated return date is:

  March 17th, 2026

Thank you again for being part of this journey.

  Seriously.

It means the world to me that there are people willing to step into this story with me, to meet these characters, to ugh with them, hurt with them, and watch them cw their way into something bigger, stranger, and more dangerous than any of them were ready for. This world has lived in my head and heart for a very long time, and being able to finally share it with other people feels a little unreal in the best possible way.

  So take a breath.

  Rest while you can.

Because when we come back, the stakes get higher, the powers get nastier, the feelings get messier, and the world of Avarice Online opens up in a much bigger way.

  Thank you for being here.

Thank you for being part of the party.

And when the timer starts ticking again—

  Welcome back to Avarice Online.
