Taiyi Palace Opens
After leaving the Seven Star Palace, it's not anyone who can come up from behind. A fork in the road leads to the Xiantian Pavilion, where Taizhen Huanyuan Zushi collected rare treasures and strange objects from all over the world, as well as notes on Buddhist, Taoist, and magical scriptures. Unfortunately, after Da Shi Tuo's passing, everyone scattered and divided up everything inside, with Si Kong Zhan grabbing the most, almost moving half of Xiantian Pavilion to Yunmeng Mountain.
Along the main road, all the way up, is Huangji Palace, where Hunyuan Zushi preached in those years. Every year during San Yuan Festival, Hunyuan Zushi would come down from Taiyi Palace above to preach and teach all his disciples here. In the past when Hunyuan Zushi was meditating in seclusion at Taiyi Palace, it was Toutu Dashi who led these fellow disciples to practice and hone their skills here.
The scenes of the past are still vivid in our minds, but now everything has changed and people are all sighing with regret.
The mountain road above the Huangji Palace is about to be sealed off by the sea of clouds, and soon it will reach the Fengwu Pavilion. From here, you can take the Rainbow Cloud Road directly to the Ice Extreme Cave on the North Platform Mountain. If you continue upwards, after walking through 108 levels of White Jade Cloud Stairs, you will arrive at the Taiyi Palace. The Taiyi Palace is a place where only the sect leader can reside, and it has been automatically sealed since the death of Master Tuo. Outside, there is a Hunyuan Locking Immortal Array, which can only be opened by the sect leader of the Wutai Sect using the Hunyuan True Qi to enter the palace.
Yu Qing knelt under the White Jade Stage, silently praying to his master for a moment. Then he raised both hands and shot out the mixed yuan true energy. The true energy was like a mixture of black and white, spinning and shooting into the sea of clouds. Soon, the thick white clouds began to churn and boil, as if boiling over, and large and small cloud masses quickly formed various shapes of flying birds and beasts, from small squirrels and sparrows to giant dragons and whales, roaming and running, emitting waves of shrill cries.

Yue Qing waved his hand: "It doesn't matter, it's just that the first time is too exhausting, and later it will be simple. This place is the center of the entire Wutai Mountain, and once the Taiyi Palace is opened, the protective array of the mountain will also be activated, and the dragon veins underground will be awakened. The essence of the heaven and earth within a radius of ten thousand miles will gather here continuously, and in three months, Wutai Mountain will completely change its appearance. Naturally, he didn't believe that his master could manifest their sacredness either, thinking that this was just a trick used by the two of them to gather fellow disciples and claim orthodoxy for themselves. Now, seeing Yue Qing actually open up the Taiyi Palace, he couldn't help but start to have doubts about this matter again.
The Taiyi Palace is the essence of Taiyi's primordial chaos, searched from all over the world and refined in the Heavenly Furnace. The entire palace is as large as a mountain peak, with stairs, doors, windows, pillars, and courtyards all integrated into one entity.
The entire palace has thirty-three floors, the main hall enshrines giant statues of Taishang Laojun and Tongxuan Zhenren. Laojun wears a Taoist robe, with a gourd tied around his waist, holding a banana fan in his left hand and a Qixing sword in his right hand. Underneath is a five-meter-tall, majestic and ferocious green bull, its four hooves treading on auspicious clouds, suspended above the mist-shrouded pool of water.
Tongxuan Zhenren stood beside Taishang Laojun, slightly leaning back, wearing a carefree hat, holding an ancient lamp in his left hand and a bamboo scroll in his right hand. Below him was a giant ancient bird Kunpeng, with its wings spread wide, as if flying over the vast ocean.
Yue Qing led everyone to worship the ancestors here, and visited the Wind Pavilion, Rain Pavilion, Thunder Pool, Electric Tower, as well as the Yin Yang Candle, Four Image Tower, Eight Mysterious Pearl and other places.
After leaving the Taiyi Palace, Yue Qing sealed off Yunlu and began to assign tasks. Liu Quan was in charge of leading people to sweep various palaces, Xu Fei Niang was responsible for repairing abandoned arrays and seals, Fa Yuan was responsible for receiving fellow disciples who rushed back and introducing them, and also leaking Yue Qing's plan in advance to test their reaction. They originally followed Fayuan Hun, although they were not monks, but also shaved their heads and wore kasaya.
He cultivates the Divine Demon Body Refining Great Method, according to the Ten Demon Scripture. When cultivated to the extreme, it can withstand ten thousand calamities without being destroyed. Now he can also grab people in mid-air and fly swords. His kasaya is also a treasure, consisting of two pieces connected by jade rings. When activated, they become two wings, wildly spewing demonic flames, unstoppable. Hence, he earned the nickname Fire Wing Vajra.
Sun Fuxiu cultivated the Blood Demon Transformation Great Technique, able to emit the Magic Fire Red Lotus, condensing flames into lotus flowers with a wave of his hand, which could hold down the enemy's flying swords, so everyone called him Master Furong.
In the past, they offended the divine hand of Qingluo Yu, Wei Fengniang. Wei Fengniang drove them to desperation, and they fled back to Wutai Mountain to seek Fa Yuan's protection. However, Fa Yuan was no match for Wei Fengniang either. In the end, Xu Feiniang stepped in and had a fierce fight with Wei Fengniang, driving her away. From then on, these two began to worship this humble and tolerant sister, becoming Xu Feiniang's loyal followers. As long as Xu Feiniang sent out a flying sword message, no matter how far they were, they would immediately rush over with all their might. Therefore, when they saw the letter with Xu Feiniang's name on it, they rushed back immediately.
Xu Fei Niang introduced Liu Quan to them, and the two immediately called each other "younger brother". They were only willing to follow their elder sister and work with her. As for how the Wutai Sect would develop in the future, it was all irrelevant, and no one needed to be assigned tasks. Immediately rolling up their sleeves, they began working with Xu Fei Niang, repairing the immortal array. Seeing that their elder sister's magical powers were even more profound than before, their admiration for her deepened by several layers.
The next day after the two returned to the mountain, Zhī Tōng Shàng, a disciple of Tuó Tuó Dàshī, also rushed back. He had always regarded himself as the legitimate heir of the Wǔtái school and had been practicing for a long time, even looking down on many of his junior uncles who entered the door later. This time, after receiving the flying sword book, he said that Fǎ Yuán's three people wanted to reorganize the mountain gate and revive Wǔtái, and suddenly felt that such a big thing must be presided over by himself and could not be absent. Therefore, he immediately brought his four great disciples to come.
Zhītōng was tall and majestic in appearance, with a dignified demeanor that immediately gave the impression of being a high-ranking monk. He had studied Buddhism under his master, Tuòtuó Dàshī, for some time and was not like Fǎ Yuán and others who were merely wearing Buddhist robes as a disguise. Zhītōng's understanding of Buddhism was quite profound, especially in the Lotus Sutra, which he often lectured on at other temples at the invitation of their abbots. Through his efforts over the years, the incense offerings at Cíyún Temple had become extremely prosperous, attracting many people from distant provinces to come and worship in Chengdu. More than a million laypeople had taken him as their master! Throughout Shǔdì, whenever Cíyún Temple's Zhītōng was mentioned, everyone would give a thumbs up in praise: "Deep understanding of Buddhism! Compassionate and benevolent! Strict adherence to the precepts!"
Zhī Tōng didn't wear a kasaya, but wore a yellow monk's robe. In his right hand he held a nine-ring tin staff, and in his left hand he supported a purple gold alms bowl. His face was full of compassionate color. Behind him followed his four most beloved disciples, also known as the Four Golden Arhats of Ci Yun Temple: Dà Lì Jīn Gāng Tiě Zhǎng Sēng Huì Míng (Iron Palm Monk), Wú Dí Jīn Gāng Sài Dá Mó Huì Néng (Invincible Arhat), Duō Bì Jīn Gāng Xiǎo Nǎ Zha Cí Xíng (Multi-armed Arhat) and Duō Mù Jīn Gāng Xiǎo Huǒ Shén Huì Xìng (Many-eyed Arhat). Each of them was over nine feet tall, similar to an iron tower. They held in their hands the lotus lantern, precious pestle, jade pagoda, and golden wheel - four magical instruments. Following Zhī Tōng, they descended in a ray of golden light in front of the mountain gate. Originally he wanted to go directly to the Seven Star Palace, but the defensive formation had already been activated, so he knew it was dangerous and landed at the mountain gate instead, proceeding on foot from there.
