The Origin of Destiny: The Heavenly Book of Primordial Yang

Yue Qing felt a bit surprised after hearing Bai Kun's words, thinking that this guy was quite unique. He didn't say much and took the Xiantian Four Spirits Flag from Bai Lingxian's hands: "The reason I let you go to Yandang Mountain is that I wanted to give these two treasures to you, no need to return them to me. These two treasures were refined by Da Yu when he controlled the flood, and they are the nemesis of the water tribe of the heavenly demons. From now on, you must treat them well."

Bai Ling Xian listened to Shi Shu's words and was about to hand over the Yu Ding to Bai Kun. Bai Kun was a strange species from the Hong Huang era, with thousands of years of Taoist practice, making him even more formidable than Bai Ling Xian. Initially, when Yu Ding was in his hands, although he didn't know how to use it, he still managed to unleash six or seven layers of its power, almost causing the entire Yan Dang Mountain to collapse and creating a massive flood that turned hundreds of miles around into a vast ocean. Fortunately, Bai Ling Xian had followed Yue Qing's instructions and used the Pre-Heaven Four Spirits Flag to seal off the mountain entrance as soon as he arrived at Yan Dang Mountain, thus avoiding a major disaster. He then used the Deng Ba Gu's gift, the Aggregating Thunder God Symbol, which was specifically designed to subdue demonic creatures, to engage in a seven-day and seven-night battle with Bai Kun before barely emerging victorious. Bai Kun had thought he would surely die, but instead, Bai Ling Xian not only spared his life but also returned the internal elixir he had taken away and even gave him nine Mixed Yuan Golden Elixirs to help him open his mind and transform into a human shape. After 49 days of cultivation, Bai Kun was finally able to take on a human form, which is why he willingly pledged allegiance to the Wu Tai Sect.

The White Bone Demon refused to take the Yu Ding again: "This treasure has been in my hands for thousands of years, but I actually don't know how to use it. It's a waste of a precious pearl, and since it was obtained by my sister, it has found its rightful owner. If you insist on giving me something, then give me the Taiyin Earth Net instead. This thing has trapped me for thousands of years, and I've exhausted all my strength trying to break it, but couldn't. If you can give it to me, that would be a fulfillment of one of my wishes."

Yue Qing urged them to retreat, and Jinzhen Shengmu anxiously asked: "What was the intention of Yue Zhenren just now?"

Yu Qingdao said, "The Holy Mother's everything is rooted in the fear of heavenly calamity, wanting to advance the troops to resolve and reincarnate to avoid the calamity. We just need to find a way to get through the heavenly calamity."

Jin Zhen Saint Mother was shocked: "Is the real person joking with the old wife? How terrible is the heavenly calamity of the gods? Even if there were a hundred years, the old wife would still find it difficult to resist, let alone that the heavenly calamity is only aimed at me, and others can't even lend a hand."

Yu Qing said: "As the saying goes, success depends on human effort, while planning depends on heaven. The Holy Mother thinks that the heavenly calamity is difficult to overcome, and first of all, it is because one's own foundation is not solid."

Jin Zheng's mother's face was solemn: "That's right, the old woman's side door method is not to be feared by people in terms of technique, but if we talk about the depth of the Tao, it is far inferior to the Xuanmen Orthodox." She observed his words and expressions, "Is the true person speaking like this, or is he trying to make the old woman also worship at the feet of the Five Tai like that Shen Yu?"

Jin Zhen Sheng Mu was two or three hundred years earlier than Yue Qing in entering the Tao. If Yue Qing wasn't a disciple of Tai Yi Hunyuan Patriarch, but rather her junior, it would be embarrassing to let her join the Wudang Sect. However, what she learned were all side-door Taoist methods; if she could learn the authentic Xuanmen Taoism, then joining the Wudang Sect wouldn't be a problem. She made up her mind that if Yue Qing spoke up, she would agree, but still use Yue Qing's immortal sword to transcend one more calamity, and in the next life, as a human, re-enter the door and pay respects to the master, thus eliminating many heavenly calamities and avoiding the embarrassment of generations.

Yue Qing shook his head and said, "What kind of identity is the Holy Mother? Yue Qing didn't dare to substitute for his master again." He keenly caught a hint of disappointment in Jinzhen's eyes, paused for a moment before continuing, "I recently obtained the Yuanyang Tian Shu left behind by Guang Chengzi 5,000 years ago."

"Could it be the Heavenly Yang Scripture that was sealed together with the Nine Heavens' Original Yang Seal?"

  "That's right!"

"Alas, I've also heard of this book," said Jinzhen Shengmu. "In the past, my late husband and I carefully calculated and searched for it, but only the first two volumes had appeared in the world. The first volume was with Xueshan Pai's Giant Mountain True Person, and the second volume was with Songshan's Second Elder. The third volume and the supplementary volume were together with Guangchengzi's magic measuring ruler that year. Except for the supplementary volume, the entire book is written in ancient tadpole script. That tadpole script has been extinct for too long, and there are only a few people in the world who can recognize and interpret it. If you don't use the annotations in the first volume, even if you get your hands on it, it's useless. My late husband and I calculated that if we were to find the third volume with great difficulty, not only would we be unlucky, but we would also invite disaster. So we gave up on the idea. Now that you've obtained it, can you decipher the tadpole script?"

Yue Qing smiled and said: "I have obtained the lower volume and the supplementary volume, just recently, I also saw the upper volume. Now, all that's left is the middle volume in the hands of the two old men from Songshan."

The Guang Chengzi Tian Shu is very famous in the cultivation world. Since its release, many cultivators have been searching for it. Only two old men from Songshan found the middle volume, but they couldn't understand the tadpole script on it because of their feud with Linghun. Later, people began to give up searching for the book. However, it's said that Yue Qing obtained all three volumes quietly, including the most important first volume. Even Xu Fei Nang was shocked and exclaimed: "The second and third volumes should have been obtained by Shen Shou Bi Qiu Wei Feng Nang years ago and are probably still in the Wanmo Divine Palace of Qingluo Gorge. The first volume has been lost since Giant Mountain True Person's ascension, and it's likely that it was passed down to his disciples Linghun and Cui Wugou. How did you obtain it, brother?"

Yue Qing smiled and said, "Wei Fengniang and I are old acquaintances. In the past, we once cut ice together on Mount Tian and picked snow lotus flowers. A few years ago, I went to Qingluo Gorge with her to study the Heavenly Book. With our relationship, it's only natural that we can't do this. However, the second volume of the Heavenly Book is written in ancient tadpole script, which coincidentally is also used in the first volume of our Wutai Sect's Hunyuan Scripture. When I was cultivating the forgotten realm on Mount Mao, I met my master who explained the Heavenly Book to me, so I recognized this tadpole script." After a brief pause, he continued, "I used some tricks on the second volume of the Heavenly Book and gave it to an Emei Sect disciple. Recently, the book finally fell into Ling Hun's hands. Ling Hun compared it with the first volume and translated the second volume. As a result, I was able to see the content of the first volume. Originally, I only saw half of it before being discovered by Ling Hun, but that beggar let me finish reading it."

Xu Fei's wife said: "Young master, you're really good at this! Even that beggar is being manipulated by you and clapping in the palm of your hand!"

Yu Qing smiled and said, "How dare I say so, but the demeanor of a beggar is indeed worthy of praise." He told Jinzhen Shengmu, "After some time has passed, I will gather like-minded fellow practitioners to convene at Wutai and publicly release this Guangchengzi Tian Shu. Everyone can study it together and make progress. With your saintly virtues and insight, even if one volume of the middle chapter is missing, you should still be able to comprehend some of the great principles of the Tao. At that time, we will cultivate a solid foundation for our Taoist practice, and with the help of fellow practitioners like us, it's not impossible to safely pass through the heavenly calamity."

Jin Zhen said with a sigh: "If you can help the old woman get through this heavenly calamity, it would be no different from giving her a new life..."

Yue Qingdao said, "It's not that serious, Holy Mother, please listen to me. The revival of the Five Tai Sect is imminent, and all things are waiting to be done. There is a group of evil people on Mount Heng nearby, who are cruel, violent, and bloodthirsty, bringing harm not only to ordinary people but also to my disciples who often travel back and forth. Last year, my eldest disciple Yang Li went to Taihang Mountain and encountered a woman named Yu Mian Luo Sha Qiu Fengling, who used her evil magic to seduce him. Yang Li cut off one of her right hands with his flying hook. Unexpectedly, that demoness was the concubine of the Three Evils of Mount Heng, and they surrounded us, forcing Yang Li to retreat back to the mountain. At that time, my fellow disciples wanted to go and eliminate the Three Evils of Mount Heng, but I stopped them. In fact, I have long wanted to purge the western mountains for a generation. If Holy Mother is willing, after the establishment of the Luoshan Sect, we can work together to exterminate the Three Evils, and then Holy Mother can establish her own sect in the Purple Micro Palace, widely recruit disciples, teach and transform the people, accumulate external merits to reduce the heavenly calamity. At that time, Holy Mother will attain the right fruit, and your beloved will no longer have any worries, which is a perfect outcome!"

Jin Zheng Shengmu hesitated when she heard Yue Qing tell her to establish a sect. The Taoist teachings she had learned could only be cultivated up to the Immortal Realm, similar to those of the Lao Mountain Sect. If she wanted to use them to open a mountain gate, it would be sufficient, but this kind of side-door entry into the Tao was unstable and difficult to overcome the Heavenly Tribulation. Most people who followed this path would disperse at the last moment and have to continue cultivating multiple times before they could achieve a divine position.

For example, Jin Zhen Shengmu, although she is now a terrestrial immortal, her cultivation of the Xuan Nu Yuan Ying was far inferior to Xu Fei Niang's Tai Yi Yuan Ying in terms of efficacy and ability to withstand the Heavenly Tribulation. The Tai Yi Yuan Ying could stably cultivate up to the Yang Shen Tian Xian, and even had a chance at achieving the Jin Xian position. In contrast, the Xuan Nu Yuan Ying was only suitable for cultivating into a Tian Xian, with only one layer of opportunity.

Jin Zheng Shengmu did not dare use her Yuan Ying to overcome the Heavenly Tribulation, so she could not ascend and become an immortal.

Being in a side door, even if the founder is only a second-rate sect, because of the difficulty of passing through the heavenly tribulation, the scattered cultivators of the side door almost spend their entire lives cultivating magical artifacts and refining elixirs to pass through the tribulation. They hardly have time to take care of the sect. The Golden Needle Saint Mother saw that there were less than ten years left before the great tribulation arrived, and she felt that establishing a sect and accumulating merit was already too late. Moreover, if one sect is not managed well, the disciples will be evil and violent outside, and oneself will also be implicated, making the tribulation even greater. The final downfall of the Taiyi Hunyuan Patriarch was largely due to being dragged down by his disciples, who failed to pass through the human tribulation before the final heavenly tribulation.
