Walking into a new dungeon for the day, I have a bunch of new equipment from my skill. These include things like normal clothes that give bonus defense, repcing armor without giving the bulk of pte armor.
Thanks to the high level of my mp and the power of the skill, the equipment is far beyond what I would ever need for a D rank dungeon like the one I am entering.
My new armor includes a pair of pants, a shirt and shoes, all made with absolute creation. They are pretty pin, just being a regur bck color, but their quality is quite good.
The shoes add bonus speed, less than the cloak did at the same tier, but a good bonus nonetheless.
But the other armor I have on is another of the new inclusions. Originally, at level 1 the only armor I had avaible to make was a defense cloak, a speed cloak, and a set of pte armor which slightly lowered speed for a better defense boost.
BUt added to those three was a magic boosting robe, which requires a second choice when making.
To choose a magic element.
This cloak gives no direct stat bonus, but instead boosts the efficacy of a magic element. When making it, it asked for one from a list of my magic skills, and thanks to omni-elemental, I had all of the basic options.
So I chose fire magic, and it produced something that would fit well on a magic user, a robe of white fabric, gradenting to a shade of red on the ends.
Weapon whys, I changed my setup a lot.
With the jump to level 2 of absolute creation, a lot more items became avaible in the weapon menu. This includes things like throwing knives or bombs to be used as disposable weapons, to other weapon types like axes or tridents or scythes, a bunch of cool things I can’t wait to use. And each of them had an option to add an element of magic to them.
But the weapon I went with today was the magi-guns that were added. Several different ones were added, but I went with twin pistols for today. THe skill also had options to make different ammo types for the guns, which also were seemingly based on my avaible magic elements.
I was kind of fascinated with the magi-guns people used, mainly because of the juxtaposition between clearly fantasy things and the more sci-fi nature of the guns, so I wanted to give them a try.
The st notable addition to my skill I was not using today. The expansion of the accessory page. Originally just the Exp-0 Bracelet I used to max each stat and get MP growth, it now had a bunch of items. Rings, Neckces, earrings and bracelets. Each of them had options like the magic robe did, but instead they could grant skills. For example, I could make a ring that granted Strength Boost up to level 5, giving +50 strength. And since it was an ancestry and not a weapon, that was global strength, not attack strength like it would be on a sword. Each of these could do that, like giving someone quick-step.
I did have a few skills I couldn’t choose, like Mp growth or absolute creation itself. Apothiosis didn’t even show up.
Strangely there was an extra item that wasn’t like the other accessories.
Appraisal Gsses - 10,000 Mp - 0 EXP - Grants Skill [True Appraisal Lv.Max]
I made them to test them out, and it really did give True Appraisal. While wearing the gsses, I could see the item description on everything I could look at. I could do some really amazing things with those, but was waiting to test them out more.
But it did show something new with this level. No item gave EXP for the skill anymore. Instead, whenever I made a magic item, like one that granted a skill or had an element attached to it, I would get 100 EXP for the level. With needing 20,000 EXP for level 3, I had my work cut out for me.
The dungeon I had chosen to come to was to push my level a little higher, since I wanted to be able to help out with more new dungeons.
This dungeon is called the Teractac web, specializing in spider monsters in the arachne family. The level requirement was 75, meaning it was much closer to my level then the 50 from the catacombs. THe boss is a level 100 monster called a Arch Taractec, an advanced spider monster, about one step below a queen type monster.
Queen type monsters are the ones who run hoards, not just small groups like the advanced goblins I fought as bosses before. They are mostly insect adjacent monsters instead of humanoid or beast ones.
Walking into the cave the dungeon is made of, I find that it is covered in spider webs.
“Creepy” I say to myself. This was the first dungeon I had entered that gave me the chills like this. MOnsters like slimes or goblins are pretty separate from normal human fears, but spiders are right on that list.
And it wasn’t too long until I found a bunch of them.
Crawling on the ceiling was a giant spider, one of the several types of spider monster that existed. It jumped towards me, but thanks to the pistols, I shot a fire bullet right through the body.

The spider's body vanished and left behind a crystal that I quickly picked up and moved on. But it was less than a minute before I found another.
One more shot off, one more dead spider.

I got a better look at this one and noticed the details on the body.
It was a rge white spider covered in red designs. The front to legs were sharp, probably the main way it attacked.
I didn’t get another stone this time, and moved forward.
But once again, I found more spiders, this time 2.
Two quick shots off, and two more dead spiders.

“This is pretty fun” I say to myself. I never really got the idea of guns before, but now that I am actually killing monsters with this much ease, and dare I say, swagger, I was really enjoying shooting.
But I think I made a mistake.
Because the next spider wasn’t one I found.
It came to me.
And it wasn’t alone.

“I think it’s over” I say, covered in gunk from all of the spiders. There were hundreds of them coming from every direction.
This was the first time I dealt with a real swarm monster, without triggering the swarm myself.
I leveled up a bunch while this happened, but it took me a while to find out why it wasn’t stopping.
Like an idiot, I forgot to find out how sensitive the spiders were to sound. Certain monsters ran from the sound of fighting, but others swarmed to it.
And god did the monsters swarm towards the sound of gunfire.
It took me a while to figure out what was happening, and when i did, I switched over to just using magic.
Thanks to absolute creation, and filling extra ammo for the magi-guns, I have increased my MP to an extremely high level.
Another interesting thing with the hoard attack was that it wasn’t just from the first level. It was a known problem that enemies could come from lower or higher levels to attack you, but this was my first time seeing it. And because of it, I was forced to the lower levels instead of mapping the whole dungeon during this run.
“I'm going to have to go back and map this…” I say to myself, while still looking at the pce where I finished the hoard fight. “But first”
The boss room.
Deciding to finish the dungeon before going back and mapping the dungeon, I head into the room.
The height of the spiders I fought during the dungeon ranged from about 3 feet to 4 feet tall.
BUt the arch Teractac boss was about as tall as I was. Its pincers were huge, big enough to cw through cars or trucks. Instead of the white with red the original teractac’s, this one was bck and white instead.
And it moved quickly from when I started the fight.
I move quickly, matching it, as to not get caught off guard. But there isn’t much I can do right away.
Because of the many eyes of the spider, I couldn’t move to a pce outside of its view. I was using the magi-guns during this fight, just as one st time since it was fun, but it did require me to be somewhat prepared for the fight.
But my reaction time is good, and thanks to magic sense, I do get a chance to aim at the spider.
I spin back and point the gun at the spider and shoot.
And cut off one of the eight legs.
The spider makes what I can only assume was a yelling sound, but loses very little of its speed, making it hard for me to nd a shot on it still.
Our back and forth continues until I get another chance to get a shot off again.
Cutting off one more leg, I do deal enough damage to slow it down for a third and final shot.
Piercing that shot through the spider's head, I get the notification for the clearing of the dungeon.

500 SP gained
The chest for the dungeon appears, and I grab the items from it. Its a vial of poison from the spider and a magic stone. And after everything, I leave the dungeon and start again.
?
At by the end of the day, I cleared the dungeon about 5 more times, and gained a decent amount of EXP and SP.
A few more days here, and I should be able to move to another harder dungeon.
