The pure joy that everyone felt as Eve and Veronica came around that corner could not be described in mere words. Since the three of them even though they didn't quite get along had such joy and excitement on their faces. There were feelings of exhilaration for the battle that was to come. Feelings of relief that people that they have come to call comrades and family were still alive. Of course, a little bit of annoyance that they weren't about of the beginning of this little track through the facility. Even through there was noise and celebration all around the entrance to the containment room. Aurora and Gale were still able to sleep peacefully.
Eclipse and Glade stood towards the center of the room while the Crimson Judgement core crew members circled around the threshold of the opening. Valentina, Eve, and Veronica were on the outside with Alexandria on the inside and the captain of course was the first to actually speak something audible not just squeals of excitement or blubbering through tears or a flurry of softs fists pounding against a chest that didn't feel pain.
"It is good to have the both of you here. You made it down her quicker than the two of us did. Of course, we were having to discover things along the way while you were given directions. Speaking of that." Alexandria turned around motioning her hand to allow Veronica and Eve to step inside while Valentina stayed on the outside. Even though her back was turned she was still listening to the conversation.
Eclipse and Glade took a couple of steps forward keeping about a few paces between the two groups. "Veronica Eve this is Eclipse the one who helped me talk to the two of you and guided you here. Next to her is Glade right now they are the two capable fighters in the group. Of course, Eclipse isn't necessarily a traditional fighter. Glade however she has an amazing ability and I'm not sure since I haven't seen it yet, but I'm pretty confident to say that her martial arts skills are very capable." She paused for a moment taking in a deep breath wanting to get through this quickly so that they could move on to the more important situation.
"Eclipse Glade this is Eve our reconnaissance spy close to mid-range combat fighter. She can blend into any situation, and you will not find a better knife thrower anywhere. Next to her is Veronica she's made out of the hardest substance known to this world. She is also an expert in martial arts. She usually doesn't carry weapon since just being struck by her body is enough. She is also one of our frontline fighters. These two are also going to be part of my personal guard. Eclipse will be the leader and there is Glade. The woman over there in the chair sleeping that is Gale and the little girl curled up on the bench over there that's Aurora. She will be part of the personal guard, and she is Eclipse's biological daughter. Now, that is enough introductions we have a job to do. The reason the two of you are down here is to help us conquer the last area in this facility and that is the bottom most containment area. Their comrade Mist is confined there along with all of their valuables and keepsakes including probably some treasure. Aside from that as I've already said we also need to be weary of when we actually free her since that shroud protecting this island will probably dissipate. We can't tell if it's going to be instantaneous or if it's going to take some time, but we need to get out of here as soon as we retrieve her. We got to get back up to the surface regroup with the rest of the strike team it's imperative we get back." Alexandria stopped and looked over at Eve.
"If you have any food or medical supplies, I want you to go to Gale first. We need her back up to one hundred percent at least eighty if you can help it. I know you're not a medic but just go check her out. Veronica." Eve nodded.
"Yes, captain." Veronica gave Alexandria a smirk ready for her orders.
"You're going to be the frontline just as I stated before. We don't know exactly the strength of the guards in this facility. However, what we do know is that everyone down there is probably elite class. There may be a few lower-class skilled guards, but everyone down there is officer level. So, you are going to be paramount in this fight. Glade has some protection defense skills as well and she can help. The two of you need to work together." She paused for a moment shifting her attention to Eclipse.
"Eclipse you and Valentina will be a separate unit. Her time manipulation can help you immensely. The fact that if something happens and you need a little bit more or a little bit less time the two of y'all's skills will complement each other. I will head up the rear with Aurora. Eve you'll be in the center with Gale." Alexandria was pleased with the formation.
Eve nodded as she made her way over to Gale and started checking her breathing, her heartrate, looking at her color, and seeing if she had any external wounds, or bruises. She also as gently as possible woke her up to give her some water and some food.
"Well, it seems your captain is showing Alexandria. Are you positive this is the best tactic? Although I do agree with the pairings that you've made. I will tell you this. The fact you are pairing yourself up with my daughter if she gets a single scratch, you and I are going to fight." Eclipse narrowed her eyes at Alexandria.
Alexandria let out a devious giggle. "Fine, but if we do fight there will be some restrictions. No threads of darkness and I'm not allowed to fully shift. Oh and no shadow creatures that way it will be more of a contest and less of an ability tit for tat."
Eclipse responded with a giggle and nodded. "Fine however I think it's time that we move. Glade, do you think you could carry Gale?"
Glade looked over at Gale and Eve than back at Eclipse. "It is entirely possible I can do it. However, it might be better if she walked on her own. The further we go down the more surveillance they'll be and even if we take the cameras out, they're still going to be watching every movement we make. If they see us carrying somebody or if we made some type of stretcher, we cannot show them that. They cannot see our weakness because I guarantee you, they will target it the moment they see us coming around the corner." Glade paused for a moment looking at Alexandria.
"Your people brough medicine that is good. I think what Gale really needs right now is just some pick me ups. If we can get her on her feet and walking that will be good. We need to wake up Aurora as well. Even if she is going to be in the back with you, she needs to be happy laughing and skipping. That will throw them off their game. None of us can act differently than they've seen us act unless it's more confident. I agree with Eclipse as well your setup is good, and we will follow your lead." Glade gave Alexandria an approving head nod.
Alexandria smiled. Everything was starting to fall into place. It wasn't exactly as she had imagined it, but it was close enough. "I'm very glad to hear y'all are all on board. Let's wake Aurora up as Glade suggested and then Eclipse you map out the route. Once Gale can stand, we move out."
Everyone nodded in agreement as Alexandria moved over to Gale and Eve. "So, how do you feel Gale?"
Gale took in a deep breath which stunned Alexandria for a moment because it felt like the air pressure around her was pressing against the side of her head. She noticed Alexandria wince and she stopped instead taking in a smaller more controlled breath. "My apologies Captain Alexandria. I sometimes forget. It's been a while since I've been unplugged from all my sensory deprivation equipment. The other mechanisms that were controlling my abilities well control is a bit of an understatement they were manipulating them as much as the researchers thought they could manipulate me. I am better. The rest was helpful, and Eve here has given me a few other things to assist. I should be able to get up and walk in the next few minutes. I am eager to release our sister from the bowels of this ratchet place and even through Eclipse and Glade have been a little cross well Eclipse more than Glade. Glade has always been the most sensible in our party. I want to truly thank you for coming here even as I've listened to everything that was said it seems this was a trap for you. So, we will repay that in kind because it doesn't matter who is waiting when we leave here if Mist and I are at least fifty or more percent recovered no one will be able to stand against us. Of course, I know the rule that we cannot act without your permission. So, before we depart, I want to ask if we are met with a fleet of enemies, I ask that you let Mist, and I take care of them. If your goal is to get us back to your base as quickly as possible a sea battle will hinder that no matter how good your group is. What do you say captain will you allow my sister and I to take care of the enemy?"
Alexandria's eyes went wide a bit. She could see and understand why they covered her mouth, her eyes, and her ears. This woman had a silver tongue. She was beautiful and her voice was that of an angel. It was no wonder she controlled the air was able to take people's oxygen and just by breathing she could manipulate air pressure. A sly smile crossed Alexandria's face as she looked at Eve and Eve nodded her head. Alexandria looked back at Gale. Her eyes were gold with while flakes and her hair color was as white as the clouds in the sky. Her skin was a bit darker, but you could not have light without a bit of darkness.

"Very well Gale. I will make you a deal. As long as you and Mist promise to keep whatever you do confined to the enemy alone and not lose control and you must stop and retract the moment, I tell you to then you have my permission to act. I do agree with you. A long-drawn-out sea battle is not in our favor especially because I do not have my flagship, nor do I have my fast fleet. Those are back in my territory as long as you follow my orders you are free to do as you, please. However, no catastrophic disasters. Are we clear?" Alexandria was pleased with Gale's words and very glad to have them with her.
Gale gave Alexandria the most radiant beautiful smile she had ever seen in her life. Her teeth were bright and perfect which made Alexandria a little jealous for a moment, but then she remembered everything they had gone through up until this point. She would just remember to be blessed to have people of their caliber among her ranks.
"Very well captain. I will do as you say."
Alexandria nodded her head as the three of them stood up. Eve helped Gale to her feet and now they all moved to the center of the room where Eclipse had drawn a makeshift map on the floor. The only one not in the room was Valentina, but she was listening and when they are about to leave, she would come and look at the map just to get a sense of what they had in store for them. As everyone gathered around Aurora giggled sitting on the floor crossed legged in front of Eclipse swaying back and forth humming to herself.
"So here is a map of the facility as we know it. Thankfully the corridor cannot change, or move, or anything like that although there are some facilities that do have that ability. Of course, it is done by science and sometimes an ability from a user who sadly has been integrated into a facility." Eclipse paused for a moment and everyone's faces contorted with anger, sadness, frustration, and even a slight touch of fear.
Alexandria would make a mental note to have a conversation with Eclipse about these things when they have the chance, but now all that was important was the route. Alexandira motioned with her hand and nodded for Eclipse to continue.
"This is our current position. We are right here. We are going to take this corridor. Where Valentina is at the door, we will take a left and we will keep going in that direction. There will be several stairwells to the right and the left, but we may not take any of them. It's just a trick or a ploy. Some of them lead to dead ends others lead to pits and a few of them lead out into the water which means death. Once you walk into those separated instances the wall behind you will close, the corridor will open, flood with water, pull you out into the open water, and then close and reset itself. Thankfully I've explored all these areas using small animals and shadow beings. So, when we take this left and follow the corridor, we follow it until it ends, and the stairs go straight down. That is the first hurdle we have to overcome walking that long corridor all the way to the stairs that lead down to the true level. Once we hit those stairs and go down that is when we will start hitting the first set of traps. There'll be landmines and laser tripwires that will set off darts. Don't get hit by them or you'll be taking a nap." She paused as Veroncia chimed in.
"Hmm, that doesn't have anything strong enough to get through my natural armor. The only way they were able to take me down was by electricity and it had to be a lot to put me on my ass. So, you don't have to dodge the darts. I will shield everyone from them." Veronica's smile glowed with confidence.
"Very good I like it. Once we get past the traps on the stairs." She paused for a moment. "Don't worry about the landmines they won't explode in the way you think. What they will do is put out gas. However, the gas is just a smokescreen for the darts and for guards to come in and attack. However, since they are probably protecting Mist's containment area, they will not be a threat. So, if you step on one it's fine. After the stairs we will reach the final floor, this is where it gets a little tricky. We are going to have to go straight when we first come down from the stairs. The very first corridor that we hit we will take a right. After that we'll follow the corridor all the way down and then we'll take the farthest left just like the stairs coming down. Once we take the left, we will go straight once again, and we will not make a turn until we hit a four-way intersection. When we get to that point that is probably where we'll hit the first barricade or set of guards. These will probably not be elites or officers. They will probably be sergeants enlisted men still strong but nothing we can't handle, and they won't have any high-class weapons. Once we kill the guards and take what they have weapons, keycards, and the like. We will go straight left and right are both dead ends. When we hit that straight corridor the last set of stairs is what we're looking for. So, there'll be lefts, rights, four-way stops, straight, straight, straight, straight, straight. The stairs will be on the left-hand side. When we hit those stairs, we'll go down one level and then that area down by those stairs has two rooms. The first room is the control area that is where the elites will be. There'll be a small corridor connecting it and that last room in the center is Mist's containment area. I guarantee you every high-ranking officer will be in that room well around that room. While the first room the control room will have the elites the second room Mist's containment room is separated into two sections. There's an outer and an inner room. Mist will be in the inner room. The outer room is the control areas and that is where the officers will be. There will be three of them that means one for each of our main combatants. So, Veronica you'll get an officer. Alexandria you'll get an officer and Eve you'll get an officer. Each one of you will have backup. Valentina you will backup Alexandria. I will back up Eve. Glade you will back up Veronica. Gale even though our first tactic was to allow Glade to go inside to speak to Mist it'll be your job now. Since you are in better health you will be the one that goes into the inner chamber. Remember no sudden movements do not be aggressive, loud, or agitated. You just have to act like you're coming home and seeing your sister for the first time." Eclipse took in a deep breath a little winded after all that talking.
Everyone's eyes widened. Of course, everyone part of the core crew as Alexandria put up her hand not understanding why she was doing it, but it felt correct. Eclipse motioned for the captain to speak.
"Gale mentioned this earlier is that term because you are comrades or..." Alexandria was cut off by a giggle.
Gale let out a soft giggle. "The reason that Mist and I are so powerful together is because we are twins, and we are sisters. While I am darker with light hair, she is lighter with dark hair. I'm the air the one that carries and moves through you. I pick you up and I knock you down. Were as Mists she fills you up, she drags you down to the depths, she drowns you, she gives everything life. Mist will immediately know when I'm in the vicinity. So, I have to get into the central containment room before any fighting with the officers starts. If we can pull that off, then we win. However, if we start fighting before I get inside there will be tension inside the central room. So, this has to be pulled off with little to zero complications, but I'm sure we can pull it off. What'd you think captain?"
Alexandria looked around the room. The plan was set everything was ready. Everyone stood up as Alexandria did. "We should get moving right now. The faster we get there the faster we can leave, and I agree with Gale. Once we get into the first room nobody moves on to the second room until every elite in that first room is dead. Nobody gets captured everyone gets killed. The second room however if you can help it incapacitate them. They will have more information and if not, we can use them as bargaining chips."
Silence and everyone started to laugh, giggle, or chuckle as Valentina walked into the room and looked down at the map nodding in agreement with everybody. As the group turned and walked out of the room, they had been staying in for over an hour turned to the left and started walking down the corridor. It was time to take the final path and hopefully end this little excursion because there were more facilities to attack, more walled cities to take down, and an entire world to liberate.
