Hello Paragons readers,
First I would like to thank all of you who stuck with this story. I continued writing it long past the point I otherwise would have because of you. But eventually I had to accept that Paragons was not a success. By every statistical measure Royal Road provides, it was a dud. That failure is entirely on me for not better understanding the preferences of the RoyalRoad audience and the challenges of writing in a serialized form. I regret that I was not able to continue the story for those of you who were loyal to it, but it reached a point where finding motivation to write additional chapters of a failed story became impossible (especially when I have a lot going on with work and family).
On a more positive note, you learn more from your failures than your successes. I have definitely learned from this experience. After taking some time off to reflect and recharge, I started planning another story. One that more closely aligns with reader expectations while still maintaining the style and sensibilities from Paragons that I most enjoyed writing.

If you enjoyed Paragons, please consider reading the new story. I have a good bit of the first arc already written and I am very excited about how it is coming together.
