Chapter 7 Legend
My name is "Rongyao" and I live in a small town called Shishan, which is located in the northeast of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. It's not a prosperous or impoverished place. The town is situated in a small basin surrounded by mountains, with houses built on the slopes. National Highway 102 runs through the center of the town, and the traffic brings noise to this otherwise quiet place during the day.
The home of "Rongyao" is located on the west side of the town, with an ancient well outside the gate. The depth of the well is unknown to anyone. Rongyao's grandfather said that it already existed when he was a child. Dozens of households rely on it for survival. It was this ancient well that changed Rongyao's life. According to the elderly in the village, there used to be a dragon living in the well, because the bottom of the well is connected to the East Sea, and the dragon is the Dragon God of the East Sea. In ancient times when the world was suffering from severe drought, only this place had favorable weather and abundant rainfall, all thanks to the blessings of the Dragon God. Every year during the drought, the villagers would kill pigs and sheep to worship the Dragon God. This is just a legend that no one believes in. However, this legend has been passed down from generation to generation.
In the summer of his fifth year, an unexpected event occurred to Rong Yao. He was playing alone at the gate when he saw a beautiful butterfly flapping its wings and flying around the well. He climbed up the well curb and chased after it, but because there were many mosses on the edge of the well, his feet slipped and he slid down into the water with a splash. Rong Yao struggled desperately, but the more he struggled, the faster he sank. After a while, Rong Yao fell unconscious, and when he came to, he seemed to hear a voice in his ear. "Wake up, child." The voice was old, ancient, and distant.
Little "Glory" woke up to the sound and found himself in a pitch-black place where he couldn't see anything. Little "Glory" was very scared and trembled with his voice, asking: "Who are you?" Again, that ancient voice came from afar: "I am the Dragon God of your Earth legend, a life that existed before this universe took shape."
Xiao Rong's heart calmed down when he heard the voice, and he was no longer afraid. In a childish tone, he asked: "Is there really a dragon in this world?"

One day, I came to what you humans call the Milky Way, and arrived at Earth. I saw countless lives, powerful humans, powerful creatures, and a creature called Dragon, which was very powerful and could control the power of the stars and clouds to summon wind and rain. I transformed into its shape to wander around on Earth.
One day, I came to where you humans live, and found a large spring, where the power of nothingness still lingered. So I moved in, and after an unknown amount of time, humans appeared to inhabit this place. Watching them live, generation after generation passed down.
One year, there was a severe drought, and people were on the verge of death. I couldn't bear to see the people here living in hardship. So I transformed into a dragon shape, and brought forth clouds and rain for them."
