Jarod, a homeless man living in Kansas, makes contact through his dreams with an exiled demon from a dark and dying world. The creature bonds with him and is drawn to earth, bringing with it a connection to a mystical force known as the Crimson Flame. This event triggers a supernatural invasion of earth, beginning a world-wide apocalypse.
