Chapter 63

  Chapter 63

"We have arrived over Adara II my Lord,"said a mysterious Jaffa warrior.

In the rear of a Goa'uld HaTak vessel, a dark silhouette could be seen strutting up to the forward sections of the ship. It was a woman, a beautiful young woman with blonde hair and matching blonde skin. She wore a pair of black alien leggings accompanied by a black strapless bra that struggled to stay on. Topping her ensemble was a gold see through vest and a relic of a falcon, the only thing holding the vest together. Unfortunately, this was no woman at all but Osiris, who once upon a time, was one of the most powerful Goa'uld System Lords in the galaxy.

In orbit of Adara II were three Goa'uld motherships, their weapons and shields primed and ready for the arrival of the Asgard and their champion Thor, Supreme Commander of the Asgard Fleet.

In the still emptiness of space a spiraling vortex appeared. Spewing from its center was a lone Asgard vessel, the Biliskinir — the flagship and symbol of power of the Asgard race.

"My Lord, we're being hailed,"said the Jaffa manning the lead Goa'uld ship.

"On screen Jaffa — Kree!" barked a seductive serpent in woman's clothing.

The viewscreen activated, revealing a small grey figure, every syllable out of his mouth brimming with authority.

"Goa'uld vessels, my name is Thor, Supreme Commander of the Asgard Fleet, this planet is protected under the Protected Planet's Treaty. Leave at once or be destroyed," ordered Thor, giving his final ultimatum.

The beautiful woman, holding the consciousness of the great god Osiris, simply laughed at Thor's failed attempt to intimidate her.

"I'm the great god Osiris, and gods can't be destroyed," she said, her voice oozing with arrogance.

As the ancient Asgard vessel powered its shields and weapons, the arrogant Osiris placed her hand on the HaTak's control console and simply waited – and waited.

Boom. Boom. Boom Boom went the shields of Osiris's Ha'Tak vessel. Still the old snake stood idly by, unmoved and unshaken by the Asgard's vicious onslaught.

Finally, after many attempts, the Biliskinir — the pride of the Asgard fleet — ceased their assault and stopped firing.

Osiris let loose a menacing laugh and said triumphantly:

"Our days of bowing to the Asgard are finally over."
