Mara has spent most of her life around magical creatures. The last few years have been devoted to training drakes at the academy. She wants more from her life, though, so when the time comes, she packs up her life and her drake and travels to a cousin’s cottage to start her next chapter. Their new home is going to need some repairs and their new life is going to take some getting used to, but Mara is confident that this is just the change that she and Zera need.
