In the wake of the End War that had torn apart the world of Gaia and caused the collapse of the Gaia Sphere Federation, the Despar Dominion and the Selenar Union continue to engage in a cold war in the shadows of Gaia. Amidst the aftermath of the war, Aster had been found as an abandoned infant by the Despar Dominion that ruled over the Lethea Labyrinth.
