  "So what do we do now?" Kira asked.

  She had been awake and had not fallen asleep while the others had slept.her hands were cold and the fear on her could now be read more by the minute.

  "It's morning already, what do we do?" She asked again

  "We search for a way out" Chloe replied standing, she stretched her arms making sure her body was for for the days activitiy.

  "Easy for you to say when you're not like us....., you've got a high rate of surviving this, we don't" Kira yelled not realizing her voice her gotten the infected interested again on the targets upstairs.

  "I'm sorry......., it....I ......I really am" Kira pouted but Chloe said nothing, even they were providing to die here she found it hard to believe she would join them. She had already been bitten once and didn't turn for all she knew she could be immune by now.

  Letting out a huge sigh Leo walked towards the destroyed stairs then stared down at the monsters underneath him. He saw no possible way of escaping through through the infected infested floor underneath him, understanding this he withdrew to meet his teammates.

  "It's a zero chance survivor rate out that way, we have to find our own way out"Leo said, but non of his comrades could think of a way out through the resort.at the very least not all, Chloe had remembered something useful while trying to think of a way out,

  "There's a pipe, a huge one" she exclaimed

  "What?.....what pipe?"Leo asked intrigued

  "It leads to the trash can outside, huge enough for us all to go down, that's in singles I mean" she said

  "When..., did you see this pipe?"Leo asked, he wasn't convinced, he hadn't seen a pipe while getting into the resort the others said the same

  "I was just lucky to have caught a glimpse of it, even if it was for a few seconds before we got into the building" Chloe explained her voice steady which meant she was definitely telling the truth and she indeed saw a pipe.

  "Where can we find it, where did you spot this pipe?" Dave asked he himself has become interested, he didn't want to die in the resort at least not that day

  "Probably while daydreaming" Luke mocked, he had just finished setting up his weapon and carefully examined how low on ammo he was.

  "C'mon you don't believe me.....il take you there........, my memory on that pipe is a little hazzy but I think it can be found in the north east corner of the resort" Chloe added. At her words being said and the location of the pipe Chloe had seen being revealed Leo ordered his team to move, they were heading for the pipe, if that was they're only way out they had no choice but to take it.

  Approaching the north east corner of the resort they found the pipe, Chloe was right, it was huge enough to take them all down in singles but that wasn't the only problems the pipe brought with, they were on the second floor and just jumping off into the pipe would be fatal to them.

  "Too high, we at least need some stuff to take us down" Leo examined

  "Smart Leo, that we never noticed" Luke sarcastically said swinging a door open

  "Let's use the sheets, tie em all up one by one and use it to climb down......., not very smart but efficient" luke said

  "That's quite the idea,"Leo complemented before he turned facing Dave and Chloe "go gather some sheets, as many as you can find"

  "Ok" they replied

  It was less than three minutes when Dave and Kira arrived with a whole lot of sheets, they had already tied them all together. As soon as they arrived Chloe had taken the pleasure of knotting the tip of the sheets on a door nearby making sure it wouldn't get loose even when weight was applied to it.

  "All done, all that's left is to go down, I'll go down first..........on my signal you all better start coming down one after the other, get it" Leo turned around his hands placed on the sheets as he made an attempt to slide down to the trash can but Chloe stopped him.

  "It's dangerous don't" she warned her chesting beating a thousand times faster than usual

  "What's it this time?....., look Chloe this is our only hope of getting down and no one is gonna stop me from getting down from here not even you" Luke complained walking straight for the sheets but Dave stopped him from doing so, she wasn't stopping them from going down, she had a reason right?, another reason for asking them to wait? Dave thought letting the thoughts slip right through his lips

  "What's your reason?" He asked not even realizing it

  "Somethings down there....., an infected yes, but this time it feels different..........."Chloe manage to say

  "What do you mean different?" Leo asked, Kira had neither said a word nor attempted to say one, she just wanted to get out of the resort, she wanted to go to altera as soon as possible, she didn't want to die here.

  "I've never felt an infected like this one........., almost like I can feel the amount of blood thirst it's emitting........." Chloe said again. For all she knew the infected was waiting for them like it knew someone was going to come sliding down that sheet into the can. This infected wasn't one of the stupid ones, it was smart..... Smart enough to think and reason like a human.

  "I just have one question out of all of this"Leo said stareing into Chloe's eyes

  "And that is?" Chloe asked

  "Do you think we can take it"Leo asked, if they could all they had to do was attack it at the same time simultaneously.

  "Maybe....., not sure, the chance to that's probably a forty to sixty"Chloe replied

  "Then that's more than we need" Leo replied reloading his handgun which had run out of bullets the day before during the gunfire

  "Let's take that thing down and go home" he continued sliding down the can.chloe immediately followed, with the rest of her teammates. Even if the chance of them surviving was a little low it was still more than they hoped for and for that they'd give this fight their all if they wanted to make it to altera again.

  "Unit 5 formation falcon" Leo ordered his gun firmly placed in front of him while he crouched stareing at the ginomous thing in front of him.
